Studio apartment on the top level of a charming, quaint home. This beautifully decorated suite combines the comforts of modern, contemporary furnishings with a touch of old world charm. Perfectly situated in stunning downtown Kaslo B.C., mere steps away from the main street and a ten minute walk to the shores of beautiful Kootenay lake.

The space
This space and is incredibly comfortable, secure, relaxing and central to everything our quaint, little village has to offer. Inside you will find:

- Comfy contemporary couches to lounge on

- Top-of-the-line queen sized bed with super luxe linens

- Brand new 32 inch Smart TV (Roku with Netflix and Amazon Prime

- Fast and dependable WIFI

- A super deep soaker tub after a long day on the road, on the slopes or at the beach

-Kitchenette with microwave, 2 burner hot plate, blender, coffee maker, toaster oven, toaster, dishes, knives, pots, flatware & basic condiments.

Also:
- A charming balcony to enjoy a meal al fresco, overlooking a peaceful yard surrounded by greenery and a view of the Purcell mountains.

-Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.”

You will have full access to your own private suite in the upper level of our Heritage home. There are currently two other tenants residing in the building. Your suite is entirely self-contained, with parking right out front on the road.

Kaslo is a quaint little bustling town. When staying with us you will find yourself just one block off Front St. (colloquially referred to as the Main Street ;)). Here you will find a nice little selection of restaurants and eateries to suit all tastes. There is also a local grocer, butcher, baker and yes candle stick makers (and more).

In a nutshell ;) An adventure throughout North America in the mid 70's led us to Kaslo from suburban Southern Ontario. We fell in love ... with everything - the pristine landscape, the incredible sense of community and the slower-paced lifestyle. We settled here and had three kids. They are always excited to come home when the opportunity strikes - to chill-out on the beach, hike the majestic peaks or simply share with us in enjoying the magic of this place. Drew is a carpenter/contractor by trade and owner of Birkwood Homes Ltd. Trish is an educator, an administrator and the "Director of First Impressions" at JVH (Kaslo's K-12 School). We are also both musicians, artists and adventurers. We are excited to be Airbnb hosts and we are dedicated to ensuring that your stay in our beautiful town is the best it can be. We know the area well and are never more than a phonecall or text away should you need anything.
