Private room with private bath in 1891 home in historic Sudbrook Park- designed by FL Olmsted of Central Park fame. 20 minutes to downtown Baltimore by car or subway. Free parking. Enjoy our gorgeous garden and beautiful home. We have two dogs.

The space

The bedroom is the lightest room in the whole house as it has three sides with windows. It is adjacent to a private bath with claw foot tub and separate shower.

Guest access

Bedroom and private bath, kitchen, living room porches and garden.

Interaction with guests

As much or as little as is desired by the guest - we let you decide.

Other things to note

We only rent one of the multiple bedrooms in this house and we live here so we take very good care of things. If you would like an addl. bedroom for a child we could arrange something.

Darragh and Ed are incredibly warm and welcoming. Everything was as described in the post; they did everything they could to make my stay comfortable and convenient. Their home is lovely and cozy, and the neighborhood beautiful and quiet. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and highly recommend Darragh and Ed as hosts!

This lovely, spacious home is located in a quiet historic part of Pikesville that is also very convenient to major local roads, for travelers who may want to visit near-by cities. The location also makes walking into the Pikesville town center extremely easy, for those who don't wish to drive much during their stay. Both Darragh and Ed are friendly and gracious. The bedroom and private bath are large and well-equipped. On both days of our visit, Darragh also helped us to identify scenic and/or fast connecting roads to our daily destinations. Her espresso machine was greatly appreciated as well. Highly recommended. We hope to return.

Darragh and Ed made me welcome into their interesting and fun home. I enjoyed meeting their two dogs, (one very happy, energetic puppy, the other happy laid back poodle). They provided area directions (restaurants, public transport) and historical back ground of their unique neighborhood.

What a lovely home and lovely hosts. The room was quite "roomy" and the bed was amazing. I was extremely comfortable. Sitting on their front porch looking out among the greenery was so relaxing. Their dogs were so sweet. I have no negative feedback at all to balance this very position one. If ever I'm in the area. I would definitely try to stay here again.
