This is a furnished suite with its own private entrance and is ground floor with free parking and fast wifi. This space has one bedroom, an occasionally shared full bath and a large entry hall. It suits a single quiet non-smoking guest. There is a parking space.

The space
This is a ground floor self-contained space which is in our home but private with a keyless entry into a front hall leading to a large bedroom with big windows made dark at night with blackout curtains. The full bathroom is across the hall and is occasionally shared. The bedroom contains a queen bed. There is a small fridge and kettle.

Downtown is just a few minutes walk, the closest pub being 4 minutes walk: Church Brewing Company.

Please note: there is free wifi but no television in the rooms - so please bring your own tablet, or whatever, for viewing while you stay.

Because we are lovers of the natural world and our beautiful Nova Scotia, we recycle and compost waste as well as use a clothes-line for drying our linens and towels in the fresh air and sunshine, three seasons of the year, weather permitting.

We provide fresh free glass-bottled water. (There is no need to bring bottled water to your suite.)

Summertime guests will notice our herb garden out front as well as our meadows and grassy walkway around the outside of the space, leading our clothes-line. Our meadow and garden attracts a multitude of pollinators and even provides simple veggies, seeds, edible flowers and berries for all to enjoy. We also have birds nesting in our tall trees and birdhouses.

We also provide various toiletries, including shampoo, soap, toothpaste, cotton balls and mosquito repellent for your convenience. Towels and face cloths are found in your bathroom shelves.

Your parking space is in our driveway, over to one side.

Walking distance from your suite:
Harvest Moon Trail, 1 minute;
Downtown Wolfville (shops, restaurants, services) begins in 4 minutes walk;
Church Brewing Company, 4 minutes;
Annapolis Cider Company, 6 minutes;
Carl's Independent Grocer, 7 minutes;
Cochrane's Pharmasave, 8 minutes;

Where you’ll be

Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada

Our bungalow is located on a short street with just a handful of unique family homes. The yellow Randall House Museum is on the corner. Our road is nestled between two parks: Willow Park with lovely flower beds, tobogganing hill in winter and the Wolfville Tourist Bureau (and the pick-up point for the Magic Winery Bus). The other park is Rotary Park which has soccer fields, tennis courts and a recreation building. Across the street from the opening of our street is access to the Dykelands for walking, biking, birding and running (or cross-country skiing space in winter). The Millennium Trail crosses our street just outside the house. This trail leads up and around Reservoir Park (and swimming hole) with a spectacular view of Cape Blomidon from the top, about 2 kms walk from our house. The Harvest Moon trail along the rail bed is also located just at the bottom of our street. On this trail, it is possible to walk to our closest and newest winery: Lightfoot & Wolfville.
We welcome any questions about the area and enjoy discussing ideas about what to do...

Lovers of travel, exploring, adventure and fun. We have traveled in a couple dozen countries including trekking in the Himalayas in Nepal. We have lived and worked in Wolfville for sixteen years and truly love this place, hailing originally from Ontario and Newfoundland. When not travelling, favourite activities include beach walking (when the tide will allow), reading, movies, socializing, walking and John loves a soccer match - either to watch or to play. We are in our mid-fifties, love a good laugh over a pint (or not) and to talk about adventures. We love to give ideas of what can be explored and enjoyed in our favourite town and province, Wolfville, Nova Scotia. We are Martha (and John and Jack the dog) and we hope to host you~
