This old house is completely renovated, with a superb view across the Charente river. The long garden has a river frontage. Via a nearby bridge is the Isle aux Vaches; a short walk across this island leads to the Musee des Bandes Dessinees. In the other direction, a short walk up to and through the city ramparts leads to the picturesque and busy old town. Angouleme is a regional centre with markets, theatres, restaurants, churches and museums. There is good free parking 20m from the house.
