LIKED: This place is reasonably priced and that allowed me to stay in Fes longer. Thank you Mark! When someone rips you off, you complain. Don't you forget to thank when someone is being very fair. The location is great too. I could walk 30 seconds to a corner store with necessit…

Response from Mark:
Hi Thomas. You're clearly extremely unhappy. Dar Rbab was once my home. I live elsewhere now, but by coincidence I was staying at the house a the beginning of your stay. We do allow smoking in the central courtyard (which has a flexible cover in bad weather). To be honest, if you don't like smoking I imagine the entire country would have annoyed you. I don't remember any rock music at 6am. I would have noticed that, as we aren't early risers. We are music lovers, but I discourage anything too manic over the house system; I did find a blues station I liked on this visit. However, anyone with a sonos app or the ability to press a mute button can control the music. It's easy to find. Just follow the sound... Still, U2 liked the atmosphere in Fes enough to record two albums in a riad. Imagine if you'd been staying there! You'd have hated it. Regarding guests bringing people home at night... You've actually slandered the reputation of another guest without any real proof. But some people do have relationships, and in my experience they might occasionally make a noise. Perhaps this has never happened to you, but if you relax a little, one day it might. Anyway, my recommendation would be that in future, if music or smoking or people making love annoys you, you pluck up courage and try to talk to someone about it. We can turn the music down. We can ask people to smoke upstairs. We could even try and ask guests having sex to gag their lovers. Anything is possible. Just ask.

Mohammad was the manager of the riad and provided a lot of good information. The riad was very beautiful and clean. My only complaint was that the bedroom on the the main floor smelled kind of bad, possibly due to a lack of ventilation? Other than that we had great time and would…
