We are an indoor campground, situated in a repurposed warehouse close to Bristol City Centre. We have revamped five vintage caravans and turned them into comfortable accommodation.

Our goal is to take under-appreciated buildings in great destinations and infuse them with a little bit of soul, so you can have an alternative to the standard hotel experience at more affordable prices.

We chose to stay in the caravan for the experience and it was worth it! The place was much smaller than i anticipated but it didn’t matter because you are really only inside to sleep! When we were there the place was fully occupied but we rarely saw anyone. I was hoping that pe…

Oh wow, where can we start? We would like to make the experience to sleep in a camper beside good or bad weather. We booked and were looking Forward to the date. Then Emma wrote us a Standard message - just with a bit of text and two Fotos with the checkin-Details. Wow! As we are…

Response from Emma:
Hi Steffi I'm sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We do care a great deal about our guests experience and will consider your comments and look to improve. I really wish you would have contacted us directly, so i could have helped at the time of you staying. I thought however i would take the time to respond to your review We like to think that the message we sent to you, was quite detailed. Since we created this space, we have found that actually most people prefer to self-check in at a time thats convenient for them as opposed to having to arrive at a set time. As an airbnb host yourself, you know that the listing holds a lot of the information, and We do put clearly on our listing that check in method is "self check in", unless you prefer to be met and then we request you send us a message to arrange - so i'm not sure if you didn't notice this as you didn't get in contact. I understand what you are saying about Airbnb theory and it most definitely started with sharing peoples homes, but its moved on quite a lot since then, with hoteliers, b&bs, unique stays all being listed on Airbnb now. Clearly our campground isn't our home and I'm sure you would have realised this at time of booking. Additionally Airbnb are working with companies to produce smart locks etc, so I do feel we now tie in well with airbnb's 'theory' Thanks for your positive feedback about our caravan, the space and the sleep - as clearly having a good nights sleep is what we aim for. In terms of the bathroom, We haven't had any feedback like that before, But the smell of chorlide, is probably due our cleaners, making sure it has been cleaned properly. I'm sorry you found this overpowering. In terms of who else is staying at the time, We cannot guarantee what kind of atmosphere it will be, we have had lots of reports that people have made friends and enjoyed each others company and then there have been occasions where people have been disappointed not to speak to their fellow campers - As i'm sure you understand, we cannot force interaction and this is out of our control unfortuantely, the only thing we ask is that people respect each other and not make too much noise later in the evening Lastly about our common space, i'm sorry you found it impersonal - with the large communal table, sofa, pool table, books, games, dvds and honesty bar, we have tried to create a comfortable space for people to use, but i will look into ways of improving this

Loved staying here. It's near the station and you can walk to the city centre or go by the ferry boat of bus. The vibe is from a camping, so if you sleep light our don't want contact with other people, this is not your place to stay. Otherwise stay here!

Great place to stay for a truly unique experience, we had loads of fun! Only thing to note is that the camper vans are not soundproof at all, but we expected that so no surprises for us :) Definitely would stay here again when we're back in Bristol!
