Fabulous traditional fully upgraded one bedroom apartment in a grand townhouse ideally located in the prestigious Park area in the real west end of Glasgow and just a 10 min stroll thru the park to shops and nightlife .
With pocket sprung beds (twin or Superking ) high quality linen,& towels, full kitchen high speed BT infinity( 70) HD smart TV underfloor heating great shower and black out blinds .The apartment is also rear facing so there is no street noise it's silent and calm at night.

The space
The apartment is on the 2nd floor or an elegant Victorian townhouse build in 1853 . The entrance hallway has murals and the apartment has high ceilings with large windows affording views over the surrounding mews properties and is south facing making it a bright sunny place. The lounge has wooden floor a large comfy sofa and 70s retro recliner a small work area desk and an HDTV.
The bedroom is carpeted with pocket sprung Superking size zip and link bed (so can be made up as two singles) with high quality bedding and pillows .Also it has a large freestanding bath and a walk in wardrobe .
The kitchen is fully equipped dishwasher coffee maker etc with large food prep area and small dining area adjacent .
The bathroom has underfloor heating a step in shower with good electric shower .
It's a perfect bolthole for a few days whilst exploring Glasgow.

The Park area in Glasgow was constructed in the mid 1800s and was home to many wealthy merchants during the great era of trade and shipbuilding on the Clyde .The buildings are grand Victorian in style with ornate blonde sandstone facades and the whole area feels very elegant. Since 2000 the area has transformed and become one of the most fashionable up market places to live in (URL HIDDEN) as the name suggests the area borders Kelvingrove park and Park Terrace looks directly onto the park from its elevated position with views to the spires of Glasgow university and beyond. 10/15 mins walk will bring you to Byres rd & Ashton lane , the heart of the west end, with endless choice of shops cafes bars and restaurants or newly trendy Dumbarton Rd also with great bars and restaurants or the famous Sauchihall St going the other direction and onwards into the city centre . 5 mins by cab will get you to the SECC and the Hydro and 7/8 mins into the city centre and the main shopping areas of Buchanan St and Argyle St. 5 mins walk brings you to bus stops and 10 mins walk will also take you to our nearest tube station at Kelvinbridge with direct tube trains to the city centre every 5 mins.
Our location is without doubt hard to beat for all round access to explore all that Glasgow has to offer no matter what your interests whilst at the same time residing in an elegant peaceful neighbourhood to return to ......

Following many years of travelling in Europe and staying in charming high quality but reasonably priced accommodation we realised that this was something that was hard to find inScotland and decided to do something about it! We bought Strathlachlan Lodge 6 years ago and spent a year completely refurbishing the property to create a comforting rustic hidaway set in some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland. We chose a "New England" style for the interior and the entire property has wood lined walls painted with farrow and ball relaxing colours high ,comfy sofas oak furnishings log burner in the lounge a big falcon range in the kitchen high pressure hot showers underfloor heating and a place that no matter the weather you will feel warm and comfortable removed from all the stresses of the daily grind. ......And six years on from writing that last section about the lodge we have just opened "Perfect in the Park " which until recently was our Glasgow hideaway and we have now fully refurbished and upgraded the property to provide a comforting quality accommodation in one of the best parts of Glasgow and as with the lodge our aim is to provide guests with high quality lodgings at a reasonable price in a great location.
