The Coach House at Hotwell House features four new guest rooms renovated in 2017 to boutique standards with superking size beds, rain showers and crisp white linen.

Guests are welcome to chill out in the gardens, ramble through the fields and woods, play tennis and croquet, or replenish the mind and body in the yoga studio which will be open from October. Becky also offers Reiki sessions, and dinner can be arranged. Hotwell House is home to one of Ireland's only warm springs.

The space
All rooms can also be rented individually as each is ensuite and has its own private entrance onto the sunny courtyard.

Hotwell House is a Georgian farmhouse set in 20 acres of gardens, woodland and pasture in the historic Boyne Valley in Ireland's Ancient East.

The house has a unique history, earning its unusual name from a warm spring on the property known as St. Gorman's Well. Between November and May every year, the well fills with warm water and has been a place of pilgrimage and worship since pre-Christian times. It's also a fine spot for guests to have a winter swim!

The coach house was renovated in 2017 and divided into four large ensuite studios to allow up to 10 guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings in total comfort.

There is a comfy lounge area with separate TV room with a huge collection of DVDs, plus lots of books and board games on a mezzanine upstairs - perfect for kids and teenagers.

Guest access
Guests have sole use of the Coach House and the private courtyard lawn in front of it. They also have full use of the 20 acres of the gardens, fields and woods around the farm where we live also, including the tennis court. We also have plenty of garden games like croquet for guests to enjoy.

Each room has it's own private stable door onto the courtyard. Across the yard is a yoga studio which is available to rent separately.

Other things to note
There are friendly dogs on the property. We also have horses, ponies and other livestock. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement provided they are kept under control.

Hotwell is situated on a quiet country lane surrounded by farmland just a couple of miles off the M4 motorway. Dublin airport is 45 mins away. Dublin city is 45 mins away. We are ideally situated for visitors heading West from Dublin who'd like an alternative to city centre accommodation. We're also perfectly suited for people cycling the new Royal Canal Greenway from Dublin to Galway or vice versa as the canal is just 5km away.

We are close to historic Trim, home of the 11th century Norman castle that bears its name. The river Boyne and Royal Canal are five minutes away.
