Where you’ll be

Boonsboro, Maryland, United States

Boonsboro is celebrating its 225 year anniversary. There are events throughout the year. Downtown offers a number of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Nearby Funkstown is known nationally for its antique shops. Frederick is a special town steeped in history but modern with a large selection of restaurants, breweries and art venues. Across the Potomac in West Virginia, Shepherdstown offers a college setting with offbeat shops, music, eclectic dining and pubs. Harpers Ferry is the National Park Service headquarters for the Appalachian Trail and retains its historical significance with replicas of actual stores and landmarks. And, of course, Antietam battlefield in Sharpsburg, which has avoided the commercial buildup of many other historical sites. The area has something for everyone.
