Great place to stay! George was such a lovely host - as were his two WHOOF-Ing residents! The room was great as well and located beautifully.

I was pretty uncomfortable staying here. Important things to note: guests may not use kitchen and are discouraged from keeping anything in fridge. There is no fan or air conditioning in the home either, and there are a lot of bugs (non-biting ones) on the property and no screens …

Response from Denis:
While being disappointed Jacqueline did not enjoy her time here I found it rather intrusive of her to automatically go into my kitchen, put her things in the fridge and then go looking through my cupboards without asking even though I was in the living area. No other guests have done that and I have been a B&B host for over 10 years. As for a lot of non biting bugs on the property I they are cicadas, a common summer insect that is here for about six weeks during January and February.

A great B&B in a fantastic location at the entrance to the Abel Tasman National Park. Clean rooms, lovely gardens, helpful host. Simple but delightful.

The accommodation is really near the entrance to the Abel Tasman Nationalpark and is in a quiet place. The host is a really great and lonely person, who gives nice advices for the stay. I can really recommend this place.
