The space
If you were to pick a dream location in the Barossa The Reserve would be it. Located right smack bang in the middle of all the famous wineries and only minutes along Seppeltsfield Road to some of Australia’s best wineries including; Whistler, Heritage, Two Hands, Torbreck, Tscharke, Barossa Valley Estate, Seppeltsfield, Hentley Farm, Gnadenfrei and Greenock Creek. And just a few more minutes to Penfolds, Jacob’s Creek, Yalumba and Elderton. Appellation (the Barossa’s finest dining) less than a minute away. You can even escape through our back gate, wander through the Shiraz vines over to Maggie Beers Farm Shop for lunch by the lake.

Guest access
Enviable in the extreme, this exclusive, self-catered residence comprises three King-size suites, one Queen-size suite, a self-contained studio appropriate for pilots, guides, guests or carers and three fully refurbished bathrooms.

Immerse yourself and star-gaze from the six-person spa under the vines or host an old world “Tuscan style” get-together around the wood-fired pizza oven & BBQ. Drag yourself away from the fireplace in the open plan lounge and retire to stunning views of premium vines that compliment every bedroom. There are two dining areas, wine room/library, huge fully-equipped kitchen, separate laundry & boot room entry and all the “mod cons”.

Other things to note
Having access to the best local produce in SA, you can pick up your goodies from the Barossa Farmers Market each Saturday to cook up a storm in either the large kitchen or wood fired oven.

However, should you wish to relax after a long day of wine tasting or walk the trails, we are able to point you in the right direction - Rachel from Destination Dining/ Owen Andrews Catering or Ellie Beer are just a few local business which specialise in customising your dining experience. Be it a family gathering, touring wine group or mates escape we can provide a long table lunch to 8 course degustation dinner.

Where are the best Barossa Cellar Doors? Well, many of them can be found along Seppeltsfield Road! These include Hentley Farm, 2015 James Halliday Wine Companion Cellar Door of the Year. Hentley Farm, Greenock Creek Wines,Tscharke’s Place, Izway, Rolf Binder, Heritage, Two Hands and Torbreck are just a few of the wineries along the nine kilometres of Seppeltsfield Road where premium Barossa wines, including many famous Barossa Shiraz wines (the variety the Barossa is most famous for) can be tasted. Whistler Wines is a fabulous spot to combine wine tasting with a platter in the gardens under a gum tree, then visit their rescued pet kangaroos! Many of the wines produced in the Marananga/Seppeltsfield/Greenock sub-region of the Barossa are world class.

We have small, single vineyard producers without cellar doors as well as iconic establishments including the historic Seppeltsfield Estate Winery founded in 1851 and Winner of the 2016 Qantas National Tourism Award for Best Tourism Winery, and many medium sized, family owned cellar doors. Barossa wineries and cellar doors include beautifully restored heritage buildings as well as modern contemporary destinations, all with beautiful garden settings that will make it hard to move on to the next place

There’s something very special about the Barossa. You can feel it in the landscape, in the people, the food and the wine. It’s a beautiful region, with villages, vineyards and farms dotting a patchwork vista. Barossans are famous for their generous hospitality, their love of a shared table and their passion for local food and wine. Festivals, celebrations, markets and music thrive here. Barossa is life’s great pleasures, in one unique place. We welcome you to Barossa. The place we love. The place we call home.
