The flat is modern and spacious yet warm & cosy with a large living/dining room, separate kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom. It's central location is ideal for exploring the city with attractions like the Botanic Gardens within walking distance.
If using Instant Book please send a reservation request for Saturday or Sunday check ins in September 2017 as I am not available for weekend check ins this month and would need to check if a friend/family member is available first.
Please advise your estimated arrival time when making a reservation so I can arrange to be in the flat to check you in. Please let me know of any travel delays as soon as you become aware of them so that I can re-juggle other commitments if possible. Check in is strictly between 2pm and 6pm (latest arrival time 5.45pm).
For your security and mine, please keep the apartment front door locked at all times.
Please ensure that the electric panel heater in the bedroom and the electric fire in the living room fireplace are switched off when you are out or sleeping. Please do not switch the shower on and off repeatedly when showering as this can damage the electrical unit.
I don't charge a cleaning fee so please leave the apartment clean and tidy (e.g. wash, dry and put away dishes, pots etc. which you use) as you would expect to find it.
Before you check out please can you put your rubbish (including partly used drinks/food items) in the large containers situated in the 'tunnel' entrance to Rodney Place. Check out is up to 11am on the day of departure.

My name is Kara and I've been living in Edinburgh for 30 years. A friend introduced me to Airbnb and I became an Airbnb host in December 2013. I have also been a homestay host since 2006 for overseas students coming to Edinburgh to learn English. I really enjoy being a host and welcoming folk to Edinburgh. As this listing is for my whole flat you'll have privacy throughout your stay but I will be happy to help you with any questions you may have about the flat and about Edinburgh,
As an Airbnb guest I usually travel with my partner to other destinations within Scotland and Europe. l love studying foreign languages and can speak French and German. I'm currently learning Scottish Gaelic too. Whilst travelling (and at home) I love walks in the countryside, swimming and eating out. At the moment my favourite cuisines are Korean and Japanese but I also enjoy Chinese and Indian food, and Scottish cuisine of course.
