First, let me say, I am very proud of my home and would not allow it to be unclean with or without guests.
I vehemently disagree with this review, it’s overly exaggerated, and grossly untrue. As a good host, when Lexi indicated she was unhappy and wanted to leave, even though I was at the home 2 days prior, made my inspection after the cleaning crew left and knew she was not telling the truth. I would have negatively reviewed her but was given erroneous information by AIRBNB customer service. They indicated since the reservation was cancelled they couldn’t leave a negative review, therefore I didn’t feel it was appropriate to review them.
Also, I not only agreed to a refund of the money I received but call AIRBNB and obtained an assurance she would get a full refund. (no good deed goes unpunished). I couldn’t verify any of her claims; I can only surmise she wasn’t happy with the security camera, since that was an initial communication with me.
In her review:
1.She indicated I was spying on them with the security camera, what she failed to mention was they arrived will after 10:00 pm, and I communicated to her, I had fallen asleep. When I woke up to her message I turned the camera off.
2.There is only one camera in the house and it’s in the common area.
3.The urine she indicated was in the commode, was deodorizer.
4.The bug infestation was 2 crickets which had gotten in the house, possibly when they entered our home that night. I also noted they cooked and ate breakfast before they left, highly unlikely if there was a bug infestation.
I feel she was unreasonable but she entitled to her feelings. It is unreasonable to think the property was cleaned for everyone except her. Please read my other reviews, my average rating is 4.9 out of 5.
