This is a case of almost total non-communications. Initially announcing a noon arrival, on the day of arrival, that changed to midnight. Had we known this, we would have insisted on sending someone to fetch them who knows where we are, as we offered more than once, with no response. The two girls who arrived earlier in the day, also complaining of lack of communication with Kristyn, told us they would text her, so as to open the building door for her, reason for which we did not wait up for Kristyn. But, that never happened, they just went to sleep, and we were woken at 1am, by persons acting like this was their right.
Anyone who has read anything about Costa Rica knows there are no addresses anywhere in the country. Our location directions had been sent to Kristyn, who neglected to forward them to her two earlier-arriving companions, with the result that they were vastly over-charged by an airport taxi.
Moreover, leaving before dawn, for their personal convenience, without prior notice, nor the least word nor email, on or after departure, demonstrates Kristyn's complete non-communication, but also her complete distain of others. Simple poor manners. Regretfully.
