A private "bungalow" popular with honeymooners & BAMA game day guests! 1st floor is a family room setting. Access the queen bed in your loft via a custom "old wood" library-style ladder!

Double doors open up to the fire-pit and to beautiful views of the pasture and limitless acreage. You have your own 1.5 bathrooms with large, custom marble shower to enable this indoor/outdoor entertainment mecca.

Access the refrigerator and coffee maker in the main home (steps away).

The space
This was originally used as a pecan shelling house. It is no longer used for pecans, but its original roof is visible inside! It is a fun space that can open up to the outside to share with others (hence the half bath, which is used during parties and events).

Guest access
The pecan shelling house is all yours, but you may use the two parlors and the dining room in the main home. A refrigerator is available for your use in the cross hallway, which separates the antebellum home from the modern addition where the proprietors reside.

Location

Eutaw, Alabama, United States

Eutaw is one of few places in the South with a large number of its original antebellum homes. Surrounded by three rivers, its unique location saved it from destruction by the Union armies during the Civil War, and it is now known for its architecture, boasting 27 antebellum structures on the National Register of Historic places, with more than 50 that qualify.

Its river borders also benefit the area, providing a solid agricultural base, which has helped gain Greene County a national reputation for some of the best hunting and fishing in the Southeast USA. We often host hunters here.

Everhope is 3.2 miles from interstate 20/59, providing convenient access to neighboring cities, such as Tuscaloosa and Demopolis. We are about 35 minutes away from the University of Alabama and thank the community for its ongoing support. RTR!

A large Love's truck stop is open at the Eutaw exit on I-20, providing excellent fast food options.

Roebuck’s Landing Restaurant and bait-shop, located on the river, is an easy 15 to 20 minute drive from Everhope.

Diamond Jim’s Steakhouse and the University of West Alabama are about 25 minutes away in Livingston.

Nick's in the Sticks, a steakhouse “institution” for the University of Alabama community, is about 25 mins away, just two turns from Everhope!

Greensboro, Marion, and Gainesville are all charming towns fairly close to Eutaw, rife with history and beautiful old southern homes and architecture.
