Karen obviously had a serious attitude problem because the night before she was to arrive on July 3rd she saw that the apt did not offer cable TV. Cable has been unreliable since the hurricane so I discontinued it. It was clearly in the amenities area that there was no cable.
She began calling and saying she was canceling. I and Airbnb both spoke with her assuring her there were TV’s with DVD players in both rooms and a rental for movies across the street. Her children could hook up their game systems to a choice of three televisions.
She said reluctantly okay and arrived with a belligerent attitude to the host in the lobby before ever seeing the apt.
I felt my belongings and my apt were not safe and asked Airbnb to request she leave the next morning and refunded her money. She did not “call Airbnb and they got her out of there immediately. “ Everything she claimed was so ridiculous. Certainly not rotten food, broken furniture and on and on. The balcony iron was just replaced and the iron door on the front door is customary on every door in the building.
The sea rusts iron thus continually must be attended too. Read ALL of the reviews and you will hear a different story. This woman is a angry person, she was when she came, she was when she left, and I’m sure that has not changed.
