Great location and vibe at the hostel. Everyone working at the hostel was very knowledgeable about things to do/ see in Cape Town. They also have an airport transfer for a fee. The only downside was that there was some issue paying and somehow ended up twice for my stay.

This place is absolutely amazing! I was there for two months and I really felt like I was at home.. everybody who works at 33 is super sweet and there's always something going on. You will probably meet a ton of interesting people and the kitchen is great for deep conversations and spontaneous dance sessions :D

A very particular stay in family, I had already take time to share with Natasha our travelling details, but the first night was book for only one instead of four and we spend the night with a full drunk guy unable to open the door (I had to...), and who keep us awake a big part of the night. Things had been improved for the further night, Natasha was very helpfull with our commodities phone, transfers...

This place is awesome! I can warmly recommend 33 south backpackers to everyone who wants to meet up with people, do activities in and around Cape Town and stay in a neighborhood with really nice little places to go. The staff and the 'hostel family' are friendly, well informed and helpful people that welcome you in this place and involve you in a lot of free activities on every day like hiking, braais, movie nights or visiting places around the district. I stayed at the female dorm of this house for 6 nights, even extended my stay for two more after that and am still visiting this backpackers and the people from time to time. I will remember this place as a clean, friendly and fun home with really good vibes and service! Go there, stay there and have a good time :)
