Welcome to our Sun Drenched double bedroom with its own entrance from the deck, your own bathroom and toilet, and free wifi. This is all set on five acres surrounded by native bush, the song of the bell bird is often the only sound you will here. We are situated only minutes from Timaru, on a no exit road. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet, take a walk around our garden or just chill under our chestnut tree or the many seats around our property. We look forward to meeting you, take care J&C

The space
We have a welcoming, warm, clean home in the middle of a peaceful and tranquil setting of native bush and nature, a beautiful place just to relax and chill doing as much as you want or nothing at all. We have a badminton net set up if a little exercise is what you are after.

Guest access
On arrival you will be shown to your bedroom which has two access points, one from the deck outside and one from the hall that leads to your bathroom and toilet. There is the laundry if you have washing to do, and complimentary tea & coffee in the kitchen which is an open plan dining and living room for you to use. The lawn and garden areas are there for you to wander around and enjoy, there are some tracks through the native bush and some metal & stone sculptures dotted around and plenty of places to just sit and relax .

Other things to note
We have a beautiful friendly black Labrador called blue who stays with us part time and we have a beautiful slinky black cat called coco channel. They both are inside pets but are well behaved.

We live on a no exit road in a farming community, mainly dairy farming and you might see the odd sheep, there is a small boutiqe saffron farm across the road. Our road is 3 kms long so 6kms roundwalking trip with beautiful views of Mt Horrible, an extinct volcano and the Hunter Hills which in winter are covered in snow, this is all surrounded by rolling farmland. Across the highway about 6kms from our door is the east coast shore line, clay cliffs, stoney beaches. There is a lovely walk along the cliffs to a working lighthouse on Rangis point. Often we see seals resting on the beach and on the odd occasion you may spot a whale, people often dive for paua and the surfers riding the waves, but sadly this beach is not the best for swimming as there are hidden rips and under currants.

My husband Chris and I enjoy art, the outdoors, meeting new people, travelling and life. We love our home and gardens and know that any visitors to our place go away feeling happy and inspired. We love to cook and chat, using vegetables from our own garden, walk our local tracks on the coast line only minutes from our door, or just stroll around our property enjoying the native bush and birds.

Hi, we both love to socialise with our guests, but it is your holiday so the amount of interaction we leave up to you, but please feel free to come and have a chat, a glass of wine or a cuppa, share a meal, watch tv or just find a spot and relax. We are always out walking up the road or down the beach and you are more than welcome to join us .
