The space
Welcome to my clean and quiet renovated studio apartment in the historic center of Bad Aussee. Great for a small family. It's small and cosy, fully-equipped and has a nice balcony with mountain views.

Ozone treated thorough cleaning between guests.

New kitchen.

Comfortable mattresses!

Ski info below.

There's a big bath tub, a clean bathroom, a kitchenette, one bunk bed, 2 brand new single beds with comfortable Hovag mattresses, a dining table, and extra chairs for morning coffee or evening dinner on the balcony.

There are lots of shops, grocery stores, bridges, trails and bus connections just outside the building.

The must-see village on the water Hallstatt is 2 train stops (3 in the summer), 2 buses, or about a 25 minute drive away. The other 2 beautiful lakes Grundlsee and Altaussee are a five minute drive from Bad Aussee.

They filmed the latest James Bond Spectre movie on Lake Altaussee.

It's a great base for mountain tourists of all kinds (adventure and relaxing). Free parking in back (when full just one half euro per day in nearby P5).

Please be ready and willing to access the key via a Realtor Lockbox. If this is a challenge please book elsewhere but almost nobody has difficulty as it is not electronic.

Fast and reliable Internet with new router 2020.

This place can serve as a writing get-a-way, a retreat or a base for outdoor adventure in all 4 seasons!

Bad Aussee is a quiet mountain village located at the geographical center of Austria with Mountain trails, rivers and lakes nearby.

This former 27m2 hotel room on the 2nd floor includes a brand new kitchenette with a stove, refrigerator, dish washer, microwave, coffee maker and everything you need for cooking on a stove top.

It's a small place but has a lot to offer. It sleeps 4 (1 bunk bed and two new quality IKEA single beds...best 2 adults and 2 children because the entire place is a former hotel room 27 square meters/ 350 Square feet with the balcony included).

Many families stay here.

Check out the locality which Frommers calls one of the most scenic places in Austria. There are cafes, grocery stores, restaurants, narrow beautiful roads, hand-made lederhosen shops, a park, a golf course, rivers, idyllic bridges, trails, panorama views, spas, and skiing all nearby.

Visit Bergfex for more info on the area for summer and winter activities. Salzkammergut is good to visit as well.

Frolic in a field just 5 minutes away surrounded by 360' panorama mountain views. Walk back and window shop the hand-made lederhosen and dirndl outlets. Have a coffee across the street just steps away from the fairy tale bridge crossing a rushing Alpine stream. The well-groomed Kurpark is the confluence of two crisp and clear rivers.

Don't be shocked at seeing people in authentic everyday Austrian traditional clothes! It's beautiful.

This place is a real gem.

American-owned. Let me know how I can help make your stay terrific!

I'm from Illinois, USA. I love Europe and have lived in the Czech Republic since 1999. I really like historical town squares and mountains. The seaside is great too. So I enjoy European sites such as the Salzkammergut Region in the Alps, Prague in Czech and the sea coast in Croatia. I like exploring on a motorcycle, on a snowboard or on a good pair of hiking boots. I'm from Illinois where it's flat so I appreciate mountains. I listen to a lot of stuff on my iPhone and have plenty of pictures from the 40 countries I've visited. I am fine with indoor reading on bad weather days but I also like outdoor blue sky days. I'm not a big fan of air pollution, bugs, heat & humidity, or unfair business dealings. That's why I love the cool fresh air of the Alps, the city of Prague and the desilate feel of the Drage, Croatia seaside at Buqez Resort. I also serve Hosts as @AirbnbCoach.
