Welcome to 'TheBarn', a self-catering bachelor suite at McAllister Farm. Experience a small scale livestock farm, ever changing throughout the year; piglets, lambs, and all types of poultry. Plus meet our resident mini donkeys. Close to the airport, hospitals and all amenities the valley has to offer. Everyone welcome, skiers, golfers, hikers, boaters, foodies, etc., the Comox Valley offers something for everyone. Well behaved pets welcome, with prior approval and a $10/night pet cleaning fee.

The space
TheBarn is very private and separate from our home. It is attached to our livestock barn with it's own private entrance. It is 420 square feet of renovated horse stall and chip shed turned 1950's fashioned relaxation space. A fully functioning kitchen, 50" flat screen, Netflix and wifi, games and books, and air conditioning. The yard in front of the suite is fenced and safe for your pets. Breakfast options available, home grown and homemade items direct from our farm.

Guest access
There are common areas for socializing if you so desire. Smoking allowed in these designated areas.

We would love to give you full access to our farm but for safety reasons, for guests and for livestock, we require that we escort you into the field for livestock viewing.

Other things to note
Close all gates behind you, the critters will escape and eat my roses.

This is a farm, there will be some noise from the gang... they quiet down if you feed them apples.

Location

Comox, British Columbia, Canada

We are a 4 acre working farm right on the border of the Town of Comox in a residential area. We do have neighbouring subdivisions of large lot homes, some new, some older. We are not at the end of dirt road or exactly rural, which makes our location convenient to town amenities like dining or shopping and also the airport and hospital.

Hi, welcome to TheBarn at McAllister Farm. We are a small livestock farm located in beautiful Comox. Last year we added our Airbnb space and completely love it. It allows us time on our farm to do the things we love.
