Avoid the crowds at your wine country getaway, where you’ll hike the hills, sip the wine, and relax on your exclusive patio at the end of the day. Or “work from home”; I’m set up for that too. This is a private room with an independent entrance and true wine industry, hand made furniture. High speed internet and a commercial WiFi device will keep you productive or Netflixing. I follow all local health, safety, and cleaning protocols, being permitted by the City of Napa and Napa Fire.

The space
Parking at the terminus of a secluded cul-de-sac, you’ll feel safe knowing most neighbors are retired or working from home. You’ll have a separate, covered, and lit brick path leading you to your entrance on a private patio. The patio is yours; the rest of the backyard belongs to teddy and the hens. . He and the hens (to a much lesser extent, as they’re usually cooped) have boundary issues and will probably visit. Teddy is exceptionally friendly and will absolutely come in the room and jump on the bed if you let him.

The private suite is a converted master. A queen mattress rests upon solid 1940s solid redwood fermentation tank staves. There is a microwave, mini fridge, and water bottles. The en-suite facility is decked out with Aveda products and carries essentials. There is a patio, bistro table, and a TV with the usual streaming services.

One can hike just a couple of blocks away at Alston Park, with vistas spanning from Staggs Leap to Oak Knoll (wine growing regions). Miles of flat and semi-hilly trails await you. Vineyards are within walking distance too. The tennis courts are 1/2 mile away and most of Napa’s restaurants continue to offer patio dining and to go orders (being your dinner to Alston and enjoy 🌅 at the parkk!). There is easy access to Yountville and downtown Napa. The prestigious Mount Veeder, Oak Knoll, Yountville, and Carneros AVAs are just a short drive away (Oak Knoll is walking distance). I’ve clocked it to downtown Sonoma at 25 minutes.

City of Napa Permit # VR16-0012. So we're on the same page... I'm not a corporate vacation rental or anything like that.. The City of Napa has required permits for legal AirBnB rentals. What does this mean for you!? My house is certified safe! The fire inspector, building code inspector, planning and finance departments have all signed off; its required to have a valid permit. I also adhere to the C19 cleaning standards required by the county. Homes lacking a permit haven't been inspected by the city to make sure they're not violating any health and safety codes.

420👌 outdoors.
No nicotine allowed on premise.
This is wine country - obviously enjoy the libations.

Guest access
Private room, patio, side yard

Other things to note
Dropping off luggage prior to check in is always ok and please let me know if you have any questions during your stay. Text messages always will get the quickest response.

Teddy is a divine 8 year old Polish Hunting dog and can get excited and playful when you arrive. If you're a dog person, you're going to love it here. If you're not a dog person, you're still going to love it here. If you're a cat person, I'm sorry. Think of my dog like a cat, but with personality and compassion.

This is a very safe neighborhood in a court. Two local police officers live within eyesight and all of us neighbors know each other. Street parking is ample & I even have off street parking available. I’m walking distance to a hiking/running park, more grassy and tennis filled parks, vineyards, - s restaurants.

Indigenous Napa guy from the food and wine industry turned commercial solar project developer throughout the US. When not solving climate change & saving corps the big bucks, I’m an avid cyclist, casual hen farmer, and grower of tomatoes. AirBnB is a pretty fun side hustle.

During your stay
I don’t plan on interacting all that much in person, because, duh... In a previously world, sharing wine with guests was fun and pretty eye opening. I’ve met some great people over the years. There is a chance we metaphorically cross paths, as I continue to use the backyard.
