Ha ha. We try to keep the chicken poop washed off the paths, but you just can't housebreak a chicken. There's never any dog poop between the motorhome and the shower, and I try to keep it under control on the lawn. But good to warn people about the "land mines" I guess.
I apologize for your confusion on arrival. I was surprised when you dropped your gear off and then disappeared for the day. I really expected you to say hello, and I had made sure I was hope to greet you. I will add a note to the write up instructing guests to come to the house when they check in, and post instructions in the RV for arriving guests to read.
I'm particularly sorry that you felt trapped in the RV. My normal routine when guest arrive is to greet them personally, show them around so that they understand where everything is, offer the use of the large bathroom in the basement and the upstairs kitchen, and generally make them feel at home.
You also might have mentioned that when you first contacted me you said you would have to go to a laundromat before you arrived. I offered the use of our washer and drier which you used on your second day with us.
In all, Joan, I feel i did my very best to accommodate your needs. I truly regret that the experience was not perfect for you.
Thank you for the feedback.
