This is the biggest room in the house. It has 2 windows and 2 doors (one to the living room and one to the hallway). It's very bright and with good air circulation. Besides the bed, guests can rest on a hammock or on the sofa. There are two bathrooms available, both with showers. A big one and a small one.
We offer guests a great breakfast with self-made bread, many fruits, yogurt, cereal, jams, different types of cheese, ham and more. It also changes from time to time so you won't get bored!
We live in an old two store house on one of Santa Teresa's hills. Very close to all the bars, restaurants and shops, but still in a quiet street. The tram station is also nearby. Parking is also not a problem, if you come by car you can park it right in front of the house for free.
The house has fast wi-fi internet, a fully-equipped kitchen and a washing machine.
Interaction with guests
We live in the upper floor, that has a separate entrance, but we're available most of the time since we work from home and also prepare and serve the breakfast every day. So if you have any doubts, issue or just want some advice, we're available. We like to give guests space but we are available when needed.

I moved from Berlin to Rio in 2012. Davi and me bought this big old house that needed a lot of work to be done. We renovated it completely and tried to keep it as original as possible. We did most of the work ourselves, so it took about 4 years to complete it. Since we had more space than we needed, we decided to give Airbnb a try and it's being a really good experience since. We have been lucky to have nice guests that share many common interests and have a fun time in the city.
I work also with photography (artistic, street) and some graphic design. Davi works as a carpenter building furniture. Most of the house's furniture was made by him. If guests share these (or other) interests, we are always open to show and hand out, what we know about brazilian culture, habits, photographers, artists and etc.
