The Beach House is 10 minutes drive out of Digby & The Digby Pines Golf Course, on the Bay Fundy.
It is the perfect base to set off on your whale watching trip & Digby Neck. Explore the Annapolis Valley, Kejimkujik Park & Bear River, but make sure you leave time to relax on the deck & watch the fishing boats, tides and maybe even whales & dolphin. Beach comb for that special rock. Digby is a working fishing port so there is always lots to see & do there too.

The space
Beautiful & quiet water front cottage on the Bay of Fundy. Tastefully decorated, up-graded appliances, mattresses & linens, all the comforts of home & more. One full bathroom on the ground floor & one en-suite upstairs. Laundry room with new washer & drier.

Relax on the deck & watch the wildlife, eagles, osprey, ducks & seals. You may even see whales & porpoise too.

We are within an easy drive of the whale watching tours. Digby Neck & the small communities of Long Island & Brier Island. Annapolis Royal & Fort Anne Historic Site, one of the first settlements in Canada, & the beautiful Historic Gardens. Bear River & it’s many Artists' Studios. The Arcadian Shore & Yarmouth. Kejimkujik National Park with miles & miles of beautiful hiking trails. Connect with the local Mi’Kmaw culture. And of course, Digby Town is a must. Many restaurants serving our world famous scallops & lobster, fresh local seafood & more. Digby is a working port, so there is always lots to see & do.

There’s nothing better than relaxing on the deck at the end of your busy day and watching the spectacular sunsets.

Wi-fi internet via satellite. Cell phone service is spotty in the area, but guests are most welcome to use the land-line phone free of charge.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the house, except the garage.

Other things to note
Our internet connection is via satellite. While it is more than adequate for everyday use it does not support streaming and online games.
