5 min drive away from Dias Strand, with its beach, water park and heated swimming pool.
15 min drive to Mosselbay: visit the Lighthouse, the Point, Tidal pool

You have access to the full house and garden.
There is a completely separate area at the back of the property where some other people rent, but it walled off for privacy and they are quiet living people. There is a shared driveway.

Other things to note
Some admin:

1. The house is NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 12 as the house is decorated in a way that is not child-friendly. Thank you for understanding.

2. We do NOT PROVIDE BEACH TOWELS

3. As it is a residential area we ask that you are considerate of neighbours and keep the noise down from 10pm to 7.30am.

4. PLEASE do not use this house as a base venue for other groups of holiday makers and campers staying in the area. The house and the kitchen facilities ( like washing machines etc) are meant for tenants only and NOT for huge group gatherings

5. NB : NO SMOKING allowed on the property (inside or outside)

6. A refundable deposit of R2000 will be taken for breakages or damages.

Make sure to visit
* Baruch's Coffee roastery to buy coffee beans. Eclectic, arty. Hidden in an industrial area 5 minutes drive away. It is a local secret.
* For a local, very well priced quick breakfast or lunch try Beans About Coffee. Share a huge pancake with delicious fillings.
* The Blue Shed Coffee roastery in Mosselbay- a super funky arty place
* Delfinos restaurant on the beach in Mosselbay - gorgeous view and overlooking the tital Pool

In Mosselbay visit The Point and Die Poort (a hidden treasure where you jump from high rocks into the sea below). Walk up to the Lighthouse and see the Dassies. Browse through antique shops and visit coffee shops.

There are helicopter rides, paragliding, visit to Seal island, put-put, 2 waterworlds and a hot swimming pool in the area. Pinnacle golf course is well known and beautiful.

Drive through to Groot Brak, or Wilderness or Knysna for the day. Go to Cango caves in Oudsthoorn or spend at day at Calitzdorp hot springs

Hartenbos is situated in the heart of the Garden Route. It is a sleepy town during the year, but over school holidays it buzzes with excitement, brimming with people.
It has a great swimming beach, with long walks along the promenade, a lagoon , waterworld, put-put, heated swimming pool, and a newly built central shopping/food area.
In peak season there is a fleamarket and often dances in the hall, shaving cream fights, and beach activities
