This tent is primarily used for early and mid-spring camping trips in the Colorado Rockies and spring and fall camping trips in the Ozarks in Arkansas. It has been subjected to snow, rain, below freezing temperatures, high winds, lots of sunshine and occasional warm temperatures (60+F). I have used it in all of those conditions previously listed and it has performed exceptionally well. It is very dry, comfortable and roomy. Setup is a pretty easy one man operation. It has tons of gear storage inside. I will say, the ventilation could be better. If it is cold and you close it up too much the condensation is pretty bad. It is probably not well suited for summer camping in warm weather because of the ventilation, though I have not tried it during the summer. I am 6'2' and 245 lbs and find the tent easy to get into and out of and very roomy inside.

Taka-san is such a wonderful host. He came and picked us up from Tagajyo Station and took us to his property in the evening. He gave excellent suggestions about places to go and what to see. His property is in a quiet and scenically beautiful area in the countryside. There is…

It’s not just any tent, its by far the best Airbnb experience I’ve had in Japan, with a amazing host and an outstanding view of Matsushima. Definitely a must stay if you’re ever in Sendai!
