Located in beautiful Sandy Cove, your apartment in located on the lower floor of a log home overlooking St. Mary's Bay. Once you enter through your private entrance, you'll be greeted by 750 square feet of living area which includes your bedroom, private bathroom, kitchenette and living room. Located between the Bay of Fundy and St. Mary's Bay, Sandy Cove is approximately 25 minutes from Digby.

The space
Your apartment is furnished with everything you would need and, if you're missing something you would like to have, please let us know and we'll try to accomodate you. The space has just recently been completed so you'll find a clean, relaxing atmosphere in which to relax and enjoy your time in Sandy Cove. If you plan to BBQ, you'll find one waiting for you on your private deck overlooking the Bay. Sandy Cove is blessed to have two beautiful beaches, one on the Bay of Fundy, the other on St. Mary's Bay and, if you plan to spend time there, you'll find beach towels and chairs in your apartment for you to use.

We'll be there to meet you when you arrive and will do our best to get you settled and comfortable in your new home. If for some unforseen reason we can't be there, we'll let you know in advance of your arrival and we'll leave the door to your apartment unlocked. A washer and dryer are available to our guests to use for stays of 4 nights or longer, just let us know and we'll get you set up.

Other things to note
Sandy Cove is not a large resort area but there are ample opportunities to explore and enjoy the natural beauty of the area, including the beach located in the Cove on the Bay of Fundy.

Neighbourhood highlights

Sandy Cove is a small, picturesque village located on Digby Neck, a peninsula which includes two islands at the end, accessible only by a provincially operated ferry service. The ferry that takes you to Long Island ( Tiverton ) from East Ferry leaves on the half hour ( ie. 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, etc.) while the return trip leaves Tiverton each hour, on the hour. The ferry to Brier Island leaves Freeport on the hour.

My wife and I retired in 2009 and returned to our "cottage" in Sandy Cove. We enjoy gardening in the spring and summer and travelling in the winter. Covid-19 -We've always cleaned our rental suite very well and we're going that "extra mile" cleaning and sanitizing during the Covid-19 virus. You can enter and stay in your suite without worrying about viruses and / or contact with other people. If you choose to visit us this year we'll do our best to make your stay as comfortable & safe as possible.
