~Coronavirus Update -- We're taking every precaution to ensure your safety! We're wiping all surfaces with disinfectant between guests, both inside the cabin and out on the deck and hot tub, changing out all linens and steam-cleaning the carpet frequently.~

Peace, quiet and natural beauty abound. Our two-bedroom cabin is a serene, comfortable space with a vaulted ceiling and natural light, surrounded by aspen and pine trees. New range and fridge.

The space
This log cabin on the Little Deschutes has everything you want and nothing you don't. Enjoy coffee and breakfast on the deck or curl up next to the stove and ride out the snowstorms. If you like to ski, swim, golf, or fish, our place gives good year-round access to the mountain, lakes, and rivers, as well as being a short walk to the Quail Run Golf course. Gaze at stars from the hot tub or walk the 5-acre property to the river. Limitless hiking, National Forests, Newberry Volcanic National Monument, High Desert Museum, Sun River, and Mt. Bachelor ski resort (via the back route) are just minutes away. 30 minutes to Bend shops, restaurants, and music venues.

We welcome your canine friends, but no felines, ferrets or hamsters please. We do charge $15 extra per night for your dog to cover the additional wear and tear. Since AirBnB does not have an option for a pet fee, please put an extra person above 2 for your pooch.

Guest access
All parts of cabin and property.

Other things to note
The Little Deschutes River is a short walk straight out the front door. In the spring, we'll make a trail, but in the meantime, it's a pretty easy adventure. There is an oxbow pond, which is not the river. Stay to the right of the pond and you'll run into the river without leaving our property. It's worth the walk. Note, however, that in the spring the pond overflows into a channel that blocks passage to the river. During this time, best to visit the river at the public access at the bridge.

Our cabin is located just off Bridge Drive, a quite-yet-accessible in-and-out road a few miles west of Highway 97. Clear days yield stunning views of the Three Sisters, Mt. Bachelor, and Paulina Peak. The Newberry Volcanic National Monument and High Desert Museum, National Forest lands, and countless sparkling mountain rivers, lakes, and waterfalls are at your doorstep. Or just wrap yourself in a blanket by the gas stove and watch old movies as the snow falls.
