Phillip and Anja's home is very beautiful in a nice quiet neighbourhood also with a beautiful garden and pool. i really liked that i could walk to the promenade and beach as well as the corner shop just up the street. however if you are going to travel or move around a lot in cape town, i suggest getting a car or getting publix transport (there is a myciti stop just outside the house). the wifi internet also kept cutting in and out and sometimes wouldnt work at all and i often had to walk down to the nearest cafe to work (and in winter that isnt always fun) so that was my biggest issue. also note that the swimming pool is not heated and is way too cold to swim in during the winter. i would recommend this place for short term stay but no longer than a few weeks as it could end up being quite inconvenient in terms of living especially if you are working. it is however in a great touristy location.

Response from Philipp:
Hi Sandy, many thanks for your feedback. Internet/wifi always seems to be a major mission in Cape Town and unfortunately this is out of our control. Although we do offer free wifi we cannot guarantee that it will always work. We are actually waiting for our part of Camps Bay to be connected to fibre and hope that this will make life easier for everybody. The pool is solar-heated and in winter the sun-hours are often not sufficient to heat the pool. kind regards, Philipp

I stayed with Philipp and Anya for a week in the Little Lemon Tree Room in Dec 2014. The room was well appointed, comfortable, and very clean. Philipp and Anya were quick to respond with any of my questions prior to my arrival, and were helpful during my stay. Anja offered great insights on sightseeing and things to do around Cape Town. Their place is a short 10 minute walk into Camps Bay. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Philipp and Anya's place to stay.

We had a lovely stay at Philipps apt. They were very kind, helpful, gentle and interesting people who gave us a lot of good tips. We enjoyed the long conversations with both of them and would love to come back. Cheers Sabine and Thomas
