Re-energise or expend some energy - the choice is yours at Occasional Creek Farm.
Located on 10 acres at the edge of Glass House Mountains National Park, Occasional Creek Farm is the perfect spot for bush walks, mountain climbs, trails for running, mountain biking, horse riding, or just doing nothing.
Occasional Creek Farm is a work in progress but our vision is to live sustainably, organically grow vegetables for ourselves and others and provide a place for guests to re-energise.

The space
Come and stay at our little farm where the choice is yours to:
- Switch off and disconnect [there's intermittent mobile reception and internet comes in via a microwave link so sometimes there's the opportunity to play a game, read a book or just watch the cows or day dream];
- Find the perfect spot to sit around and let time pass by;
- Get up early and watching the birds and wallabies have breakfast;
- Stay up late by the fire pit and gaze at the stars;
- Get close to nature and walk, ride, run or drive some mountain roads.

Life in the city was noisy, hectic and always switched on. Realising we couldn't see the stars, hear the birds, notice changes in the weather, it was time to find a place of quietness, calm and tranquillity.   After twelve months of searching and we found the perfect spot and would like to share it with others looking to stop, unwind and recharge.   Occasional Creek Farm is a work in progress but our vision is to live sustainably, organically grow vegetables for ourselves and others and provide a place for guests to re-energise. Country living is our blood and have lived the rural-life dream on and off from when got married. We're very active and always up to something, so when we're home we are usually working in the garden, tending to vegetables or cycling. David and I enjoy travelling, exploring and learning about how other people live, so love staying as Airbnb guests when we can. This is our opportunity to share with guests a rural retreat and a glimpse of how we live.

During your stay

Check in:
We really need to be here when you check in to explain how the property works, so communication about your planned arrival time is essential. We will plan our schedule around meeting you, and ask that you respect this. We try to be flexible, but sometimes will need to agree on an arrival time, so please communicate if you are running late.

While you are here:
You are free to walk around the property but as we have three dogs, three cows and a market garden plot please leave all gates as you find them. The last things we want is the dogs chasing the cows into the vegetables - everyone will be having fun, except the vegetables.

Interaction with guests:
We will welcome you to the farm and are happy to help with directions, recommendations, things to do and anything you need. The amount of interaction with us is up to you and we always welcome a hand with the weeding.

Check-out:
You are generally free to have a late check-out [3:00pm], however please check with us when you arrive as it may be too tight for a turnaround if there are other guest following you.
