It's a really nice place to stay, and we all have wonderful time during our trip in NY. Roberta and Chris are very kind couple, they also helped us to confirm a dinner reservation. You can ask them any questions and they are willing to give a hand for everything. By the way, the bagels are tasty :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment- very accessible to Manhattan and the sights in and around Brooklyn. Great suggestions from our hosts- especially for the local restaurants and sights. Super helpful with anything we needed. Couldn't have asked for more!!

This place is awesome! We were a family of 5 (3 teenagers) and were visiting NYC for a week. Roberta and Chris could not have been more helpful. They are truly wonderful hosts, bringing bagels every morning, providing coffee/tea, orange juice, milk. It's so nice after a long journey not have to run out straight away to get groceries. Having said that tho - there is a convenience store a block away, a wonderful restaurant called Industry is also a block away - we went there for brunch - and dinner during our stay - a must try. The subway is 2/3 blocks away - and easy 5 minute walk - the L train takes you straight into Manhattan. There were also lots of maps provided to us which came in handy. We will definitely stay again the next time we are in NYC and highly recommend the place. :)

Roberta and Chris couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. The apartment was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. The bagels were delicious and having them delivered every morning was fantastic! They were happy for us to stay with our 6 & 8 year old, despite not usually allowing kids, and they let us keep our luggage at the property until well after check out as we had a late flight. Roberta filled us in on the local area when we arrived, and made sure we knew how to get to the subway etc. There were also lots of lovely touches provided such as umbrellas, beach towels and sun cream. The bathroom cabinet and kitchen cupboards were stocked with essentials and the coffee grinder and coffee machine were a big hit with my husband (I'm not a coffee drinker). We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Roberts and Chris are great hosts!

From the warm welcome even though we arrived early, the maps, and the bagels every morning Chris and Roberta are genuine warm AirBNb hosts. Their place is a fantastic clam flat - really welcoming after a busy day Downtown. We will be back I hope

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment - we really enjoyed the house, the hospitality and bagels. Further it was easy to get to Manhattan via the L Subway, which is within a 5 minute walk.

Roberta (And Chris) User ProfileRoberta (And Chris) is a superhost.

Christian and I are artists and community activists and our lives are made full by AirBnB. We love meeting families and friends from around the world and sharing our piece of NYC with them. We completely renovated the house in 2012 and it's a joy to share it--we know we've been good hosts when guests call the apartment "home." Chris is a traditional photographer who especially likes pinhole photography and runs a darkroom. I renovate, paint, and garden. We just discovered surfing and pottery. What fun. Can't wait to meet you and hear about your part of the world!
