Hi!

This is our Puffin room. It's a humble but affordable and clean two person bunk bed room. We love our farm and our beautiful surroundings. We are situated close to the Golden Circle and other beautiful natural wonders. Right next to our own river and mountain. On a good day, you can look across the south plains and see our most famous volcanoes, Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull.

We look forward to hearing from you.

- The Spirit Farm

Our house is designed to be a community oriented space. Otherwise it´s a very cozy, relaxing home. Our farm is a good place to see the Northern Lights if the conditions are right and luck is on your side. We would like to point out that most of the people in this project are in they're 20's and 30's and it does have a young peoples vibe. It sometimes is more like a hostel than a B&B. We are looking forward to meeting you and sharing our slice of heaven.

Every common area is free to be used, not private rooms of the people who live at the farm or other guests.

We are 2 Icelandic people along with short term helpers from around the world helping us on our project. We have weekly house dinners as well as other community building activities we invite you to join in on if you´re interested. We have a large living and dining room where we relax and socialise. That being said your time here can be as private or social as you wish. The private room is located on the first floor tucked away in a corner with the only kitchen on the main floor. We will love to try and help you with anything you may need whether it be recommendations or even help with your Icelandic. There are two bathrooms, one in the basement and the other on the main floor.

There is a great view from our place into a valley overlooking a river with big mountains in the background. The farm is next to its very own mountain, Ingólfsfjall, named after the viking that discovered Iceland. There are lots of good hiking paths and walks to take, every season here has its charm. In the winter we see the northern lights and the beautiful snow covered landscape, the fall with all the blueberry's and colourful trees and nature. Spring we get lots of birds and swans and in the summer its just amazing with sunlight stretching deep into the night. We are in the golden circle area and close to alot ofIicelands main natural wonders and beauty. We are more than willing to help you find the right places to go and give you some local tips and travel tricks. Looking forward to hosting you.

Hitch hiking and Bus. We can pick up people in Selfoss if needed but we do recommend renting your own car while in Iceland.

We have a Native American style sweat lodge almost every week, at that time we have a lot of guests at the house and it can get very hectic, but the rooms are very private and guests can participate if they would like and are at the right time.

The space
Our house is designed to be a community oriented space. Otherwise, it's a very cozy, relaxing home. Our farm is the perfect place to see Northern Lights from, due to the minimal Light Pollution.

On days when the skies are clear and the elements align you can witness a sky filled by dancing, vibrant lights. We would like to point out that most of the people in this project are in they're 20's and 30's and it does have a young peoples vibe. It is sometimes more like a hostel than a B&B. We are looking forward to meeting you and sharing our slice of heaven.

On arrival at the Spirit Farm you will be guided by one of our friendly staff around the house to point out all the common areas where you can relax in and enjoy the chilled vibe in.

The Farm consists of 2 Icelandic guys and 1 Australian living here on the farm along with short term helpers from around the world helping us on our project.

We tend to have house dinners from time to time and many community events in which you are able to participate in if you would like to. Our large living room gives you space to relax and socialize with other guests and house helpers if you desire so. It's also perfect for rainy days when you are welcome to grab a coffee/tea on us and relax while watching the rainy day pass by.

If you desire more privacy you are welcome to find a comfortable space in the living room or your own private room and read a book or use the high speed internet to watch movies or browse the web.

If you require any assistance with anything, you can always ask us, and we will be more than happy to assist you with whatever we can help you with. Be it with recommendation of places to visit, where to buy food or alcohol, or even just a how to pronounce a few words in Icelandic.

Welcome to the Spirit Farm, a place where you can take in the breathtaking views of Iceland while relaxing and being part of a chilled out and happy community. Surrounded by fields, mountains, lakes, rivers, forests, there is something for everyone to help awaken their love for nature. The Spirit Farm was established over 5 years ago to help people unwind and recharge from the busy lifestyle in the city. Over time it has evolved into one of Iceland’s most popular Native American Sweats and Airbnb’s. We hope to continually evolve and grow as a farm, with recent projects taking us down the permaculture route. Seeing as we are at the begging stages of the permaculture project we are building up the infrastructure so that every year we are able to grow more and more food. Hopefully, in the near future, we can have the freshest and most delicious vegetables all year round. We pride ourselves on the community vibe that you can only find at the Spirit Farm.together we work and provide a friendly, welcoming and positive vibe for all who enter the doors at the farm. If you are interested in our project make sure to follow us on (Hidden by Airbnb) and (Hidden by Airbnb) .
