There is a washer and dryer in the unit.
The backyard patio comes with a table, four chairs, charcoal barbecue and a small fireplace for heating. There is a table and two chairs on the rooftop patio.
The parking is on street, but we have a reserved place directly in front of the home. The home is located four blocks from the University Ave. on-ramp to Hwy. 80. It is about 3 miles to the Bay Bridge and another 7 miles to downtown San Francisco.
You have private access to the entire duplex unit, back yard/patio, rooftop decks, etc. Home is very private. Access to the bathroom is thru the master bedroom.
Interaction with guests
A family member will always be on hand to help with anything. We live next door. As we are just beginning our Airbnb hosting adventure, we are especially concerned that everything about your stay is as good as it can possibly be. We have tried to supply every amenity we can think of, including organic condiments for the kitchen and an array of fine bath soaps, options, etc.
Other things to note
City of Berkeley performs street sweeping on the first Tuesday of each month. This includes our "reserved" spot directly in front for guests. We will let you know and help you with this inconvenience if you book on the first Tuesday and have a car.
No tobacco / nicotine smoking in house. Vaping OK on balcony or rooftop patio.
