Rectory Cottage is a beautifully situated, wonderfully equipped, 2 bedroom self-catering cottage adjoining a 17th Century Old Rectory. The cottage will comfortably accommodate a family of 4 and is children and pet friendly.
We are lucky enough to have stunning views from the front garden towards the River Usk and are situated 600 ft from the beautiful Usk Valley Walk. The cottage is within easy reach of the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons National Park, Offa's Dyke, Llanthony Valley and the Wye Valley; we are also moments from Route 42 cycle route.
We pride ourselves in ensuring that you have a relaxed and enjoyable stay; you will be provided with freshly baked bread and our own eggs on arrival. Children are free to use the trampoline and other toys in the secure back garden adjoining the cottage patio and we supply age appropriate toys and books for those rainy days. There is also a small selection of dvds.
For food enthusiasts the Abergavenny Food Festival is held in September - early booking is advisable. We are situated only a few minutes from Stephen Terry's The Hardwick restaurant and within a few miles of The Walnut Tree, The Foxhunter, The Bell at Skenfrith and The Crown at Whitebrook. Local pubs, including the well-known Clytha Arms, provide excellent pub food.
