Our modern Federation house in St Leonards, Sydney combines two living areas and a sandstone clad large rear deck that captures the beautiful afternoon sun. Our house is well located to transport and provides easy access to all Sydney has to offer.

The space

SPECIAL: All bookings over the Christmas period (19th Dec to 3rd Jan) receive a book of adult passes to the iconic North Sydney Olympic Swimming Pool, located right at the base of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Thanks for stopping by and viewing our Federation house in the heart of St Leonards.

You will feel right at home in this contemporary 3-story Federation. The whole place is yours, so enjoy the privacy and the convenience.

St Leonards is probably one the most conveniently located suburbs in Sydney. It is literally less than 15 minutes to anywhere. The lively Crows Nest Cafe and Restaurant precinct is just 10 minute walk away. Sydney City, Darling Harbour or the Rocks is just 15 minutes by train or 10 minutes by car. Both Manly and Bondi Beaches are just 15 minutes away. The hidden gem in Sydney’s harbour beaches – Balmoral Beach – is just 10 minutes away. The large shopping precinct of Chatswood is only 10 minutes away by car. You can jump on a ferry at Greenwich Point and be in the historic area of Balmain, full of iconic pubs and restaurants, in just 15 minutes.

Hi speed (wireless) Wi-Fi internet available throughout the house.

Our house has been designed on the premise of convenience – everything about the house is convenient and easy. The house comfortably accommodates 6 people. There are in fact up to 5 queen-sized beds available. The upstairs attic area is a beautiful and spacious area – a great place to escape to for some peace and quiet. The rear sandstone deck, which captures the afternoon sun is the perfect place to enjoy a few quiet drinks with friends. The very private lush front lawn it a great place to enjoy time with kids.

Our property is extremely well located to public transport. In fact you can choose between two train stations – St Leonards or Wollstonecraft – both about 5 minutes away.

There is a little reserve at the end of our cul de sac street with a “backyard swing” and just around the corner is Newlands Park. This is perfect for kids or even gathering for a BBQ.

If you are little more adventurous you can take the bush path all the way to Berry Island which is on Sydney Harbour and provides incredible views of the city. And it is just a 20 minute walk through beautiful bushland! The perfect thing to do to kick start your day!

There is no shortage of restaurants and cafes at Crows Nest. You could visit a different restaurant here every night of your stay and would have only scrapped the surface of the variety of eateries in this area.

Perfection! The house is beautiful and had absolutely everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here if you have kids - the looks on my girls' faces when they saw their room was magic (let alone the stairs to the attic room). Great location, with shops, transport and parks nearby. But then, lovely and quiet and peaceful when needed. A real home away from home. Luke was the perfect host - there if we needed anything but totally unobtrusive. This will become our go to place to stay in Sydney.

Luke's house is an absolute gem - it is on a quiet street but very close to St Leonards and Crows Nest. We used the house for our family to stay the night before our wedding and had a fantastic time. Luke was a very helpful host and we couldn't recommend the house more!

We had a perfect break in Sydney at Luke's place - thank you. The location was incredibly handy to our family and friends on the North Shore, Eastern Suburbs and further west and the train station is a short walk. Abundant local parks for our 4 yr olds were a huge bonus as were 73000 (at last count!) restaurants up the road in Crows Nest. The home itself was absolutely as advertised - clean, modern and remarkably spacious (there were 7 of us and we fitted in easily). All host interactions went smoothly and a kind welcome pack when we arrived was appreciated. We hope to return for our family visits to Sydney

Have just spent a great weekend in Sydney at Luke's lovely home. 5 adults in total and all very comfortably accommodated. The trip was a combination of pleasure and business and the house is very close to North Shore Hospital for the conference as well as to the train station and great restaurants for the pleasure part of our trip. Luke was very accommodating in making contact with us. We were out of the country for the week before our arrival and through email we were able to get the details needed for our arrival. Thank you . We would be very happy to stay at this property again.

While we did not meet the host in person never the less we got lots of good information in the form of emails and a printed "how to guide". The house was modern, very clean and comfortable and provided us, our 2 sons and their wives with a great base for our visit to Sydney. We were pleased with the cooking, and washing facilities. The location is great within easy reach of transport. We should note that the 2 car lock-up garage was a god send as parking is almost impossible in the area otherwise and we had two rental cars in our party.
