In the heart of the Southern Downs, on the Granite Belt approximately 11 Km north of Stanthorpe is the small township of 'The Summit'.
Embrace the country setting - this is your home base to enjoy some of the best the area has to offer.
Please note we are on the northern side of Stanthorpe about 10 minutes drive to town.

The space
What was once a barn/shed, has been converted to a large family/games room, separate spacious bedroom, ensuite size shower room, kitchenette.
Outside parking is in the carport.
The entire space is yours, including the bar area and pool table. It is not shared or accessed by others during your stay.
Valley View is a small working farm 1km off the New England Highway, on the QLD/NSW border. We have a small number of cattle and sheep and strawberries are grown for part of the year. There are four houses (including this unit) situated within walking distance of each other. Your accommodation is private, but not secluded, you are likely to see or hear other people when you are coming and going. As this is a farm, dogs and other animals may be around.
The unit is at ground level with one small step.
A microwave, full size fridge, toaster, sandwich maker, electric kettle, electric frypan, single convection hotplate, coffee machine and outdoor barbecue are provided for your convenience.
Complimentary breakfast included.
Laundry facilities- no
Indoor pets-no

Guest access
Outdoors make use of the full size tennis court and pavilion.
Go for a walk or find a quiet spot in the garden area to chill out.

Other things to note
Complimentary fire wood supplied to get you started, then you will need to purchase more in town.
No wood supplied for fire pit, you will need to bring/buy your own.
No additional visitors unless by prior arrangement with hosts.
Items under the bar are not intended for use or consumption by guests.
Even though the accommodation is on a farm we do not offer interactive farm activities like horse riding, cow milking etc. You are quite welcome to look at different things and we are happy to show you around.
For safety and biosecurity we ask that guests venture no further down the back of the property than the grid near the first dam and the horse paddock.

We respect your privacy, however we are there to provide you with as much help and information as required. We live on site and are usually available in person during your stay and more than likely will be around to greet you, aquaint you with your space and answer any questions when you arrive. If we don’t meet you please notify us by phone that you have arrived. If you see us out and about on our rounds, we love to stop and chat if you do too. If you need us we are only a phone call or a text message away.
Other than that we will make ourselves scarce for you to enjoy your time away.
