Fan Cottage is a detached cottage in the west of the Brecon Beacons with magnificent views overlooking Cray Reservoir and was totally refurbished to a high standard in 2017. It is ideal for a family or group of friends. Hill and reservoir walks are accessible straight out of the garden. We welcome well behaved dogs - additional charge of £20/dog. We take 7 nights or 3 night weekend bookings from Friday - weekend price is £500 to £650: stay of 7 nights have a minimum of 30% discount.

The space
The property sleeps six people in one double bedroom, one twin/double and one twin bedroom with an upstairs bathrooms with bath, over bath shower and loo and a downstairs shower room with loo. There are plentiful communal areas downstairs - a large sitting room with woodburner and tv, a snug with tv, outdoor games room and a fully fitted kitchen diner.

The kitchen has an electric oven with grill, a separate electric hob, a full size fridge freezer, airfryer, microwave, Nespresso machine, dishwasher, washing/drying machine in addition to all the usual kitchen equipment - and plentiful crockery, glassware and cutlery.

The large, comfortable sitting room has seating for everyone and has a TV and DVD player. The room is additionally heated by a woodburner - the wood for which we supply.

The cosy snug is ideal for adults or children alike - with a selection of board games, TV and xbox 360 - and room to curl up on the sofa and read a book.

There is a downstairs cloakroom with walk in shower and loo.

Upstairs, the three bedrooms have plenty of space to pack clothes away, bedside tables and lamps/reading lights. The bathroom is within easy reach of all three bedrooms.

Outside there is a table and chairs for outside dining with a charcoal bbq - and in the stone bothy below the house there is a table tennis table.

There is parking outside for several cars and there is a fully fenced garden.

There is immediate access from the house onto the 12,500 acre Cnewr Estate - with small streams, reservoir fishing, walking and mountain biking on the hill roads.
