this place is lovely, but it felt vibeless once we go in. There was no one else staying there, and the ceilings are big and echoey so it's missing a bit of intimacy. Also, we felt pretty unsupported once we arrived. I couldn't get the phone number to work once I got to jogja, then my phone died, and all we had was just an address, but it's not easy to get a taxi in jogjakarta without a phone. We had instructions that there was a sister 'next door' who would help us, but next door could mean one of two or more addresses, so necessitated some guesswork and figuring out how to get in the neighbours property, which isnt what we wanted after a 7hour train ride in the dark in the rain. Once in, the place feels pretty posh, but the shower was not working very well, we had to hunt for towels/toilet paper etc, and there was no drinking water there, which we had gotten used to in our much cheaper place in Jakarta. The bed was very comfortable and spacious So this is to say that it's a nice place and its not too far from a strip with some activity, but didnt feel like a 52$ accommodation, more like a 25 or 30. Also, there are at least 4 noisy mosques that start loud prayer singing at 430, so good luck sleeping through it.

Andi is a fantastic host warmly caring about her guests. Her house is great, beautiful, well furnished and with a great location. The street is calm but close from the center (kraton). We spent an amazing time at Andi's!
