We arrived after a long ride from Paihia to Roger and Shona's. They safely stored our bikes and left us to shower with the promise of a hot drink when we were ready. They provided plenty of local information and were great hosts. We appreciated: our own entrance, hot showers, very comfy bed, lovely continental breakfast. Thank you for your hospitality

Close to the cycle trail, Roger and Shona's place is very conveniently placed for cyclists and also other travellers. The accommodation is very warm and comfortable with great en suite facilities. Breakfast is very fortifying and Shona's tea and coffee enable guests to start the day with a zing. Shona and Roger are warm and welcoming and make a stay relaxed and easy. They communicated all important information to us about the town and the area.

The hosts are very lovely and super friendly. It was great to sit down and have a tea and chat in the nice warm living room after settling in. The hosts provided a fresh Continental breakfast including home-made bread and butter. The room is down the end of the house and very private, including its own entrance. Highly recommended.

Shona and Roger were wonderful hosts. On arrival we were greeted by Shona with a very warm welcome and a cup of coffee. They both were friendly and easy to talk to with plenty of excellent information about the local area and things to do. Our room was very comfortable, quiet and private with a view onto their lovely back garden and were provided a delicious breakfast each morning. The house is located in a quiet road just a short walk from the town with easy access to the shops with with space for parking. We both highly recommend this lovely couple to stay with.
