Behind the unassuming entrance to 17 Meeting House lane lies a newly refurbished oasis of calm in the very heart of the city of Lancaster. Our flat is situated in the Castle Conservation area of town and only 2 minutes walk from the railway station. It comes with an attached garage for ease of parking should you be travelling by car. The town centre with its shops, pubs, restaurants and historic buildings are all within a few minutes walk too.

The space
Whilst situated right in the heart of Lancaster the living area and bedroom are both set towards the back of the property making it both quiet, yet extremely handy for the town centre and all the amenities that offers. The bedroom has zip and link beds that can be set up either as a superking or two singles. There is also a truckle bed that can be set up for +1 if required. The kitchen now has a dishwasher.

Lancaster is great city to visit. It has a vibrant, compact centre with something to interest everyone be it historical, cultural or culinary. There is a local street market on both Wednesdays and Saturdays and many great independent pubs, a number of which regularly provide fantastic live music. A little further away is Williamson Park with its landmark Ashton Memorial and the butterfly house. We are also lucky enough to have some beautiful walks right from the doorstep. The Fairfield Nature reserve home to little owls, snipe, teal, hares, roe deer, to name just a few of the species found there, is only a 5 minute walk from the flat and the Lancaster Canal is similarly close by. There are footpaths down to the Lune estuary where there are more great bird watching opportunities and Morecambe, and the bay itself, are just a short cycle away, on off road cycle paths.
