Quiet light- filled cottage has 2 bedrooms and a warm cosy interior. It is a great base for visiting Dingle . On your doorstep is our traditional Irish pub where Music , Food and a warm welcome awaits you.

The space

Its a haven of quiet within steps of a unique pub . You will feel at home by the fireside but company is not far away if you feel like it. You can walk to all of Dingle's main attractions ( and there are many )

Guest access

Food and drink served all day every day in our pub and the best of Irish Music can be heard !

Interaction with guests

we love to meet guests and so do our friendly bar staff but we like also to respect guests space and privacy so we will leave you in peace when you want that! we are here if you need us.

Other things to note

Note that this property is near our pub ( not attached to it ! ) and up 2 sets of steps to the rear of the garden. There is an exit you can use which is private and leads down a lane to the seafront. There is a full kitchen but we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in the pub if you are taking a break from cooking ! If you are a traditional music fan you are in a great place here ! Also we are fluent Gaelic speakers .. We can get by with our French too ! The pub has a police badge display we add to all the time if you have one from your area , or similar ones like Fire Dept etc. bring them with you! The local Creans Beer is a big favourite with us , and this year we have a new Whiskey ( or is that Whisky?! ) section in the bar ..

Note : There are two showers , on is attached to the main double bedroom and is a straight forward dial type . The other is an electric shower and the switch is on the linen cupboard at the top of the stairs . It is hot automatically. The hot water switch is also in this cupboard and has a sink setting and a bath setting. If the heating is on the water will be warm so the water will get pretty HOT if you choose to switch on the water heating too. YOu may find that you don't need it .
Ther are plenty of board games in the living room , and also an iron and ironing board , Upstairs there is a hair drier and shampoo and body wash and toothpaste .
If you feel like lighting a fire please get fuel in the supermarket or fuel merchants ( unless there is some in the place already which may be the situation in winter )

This is a gem of a cottage very quietly tucked in behind the Dingle town center. It is truly secluded yet a 30 second amble to the shops, pubs, and harbor. We enjoyed the extra space, sweet kitchen, relaxing area. Eating and hearing music at the host John Benny's pub was an extra treat. If you can find it available, book it!

This is a true gem. Located right in the middle of the lively bustle of Dingle; yet you feel like you are sleeping in a quiet country cottage. Quiet, secluded and central. Stayed there for a week with our two teenage boys and it was perfect. The kids could do their thing and we could do ours. I can't speak highly enough about this house as a base from which to explore the peninsula. Only downside is that free parking in Dingle is a bit of a struggle. But nothing that a bit of persistence won't solve. And certainly no fault of John and Eilís.

The cottage is the back of the pub and is exactly as described. It is in the very centre of Dingle, but you do not hear any noise from the town or the bar itself at all! A very spacious, very clean and lovely place to stay. Walking distance to everything in Dingle. Nothing is more than 5 minutes away (including all the pubs and the nightlife).

First, stop reading this review and book the cottage. It's that nice. This is a lovely, spacious cottage. It has everything you need for a long, comfy stay in Dingle. The bedrooms were wonderful, 2.5 baths (one downstairs which is great) and a fully furnished kitchen. We loved the fireplace and used it often! The wifi was solid and fast also! We cooked many many meals here in the kitchen and shopped at the local butcher and stores for delicious home cooked meals. The location is amazing, right behind their pub but not attached so it's very quiet and secluded. We felt cozy and secure. We could hear the sheep in the meadow behind us. As hosts John and Eilís were delightful and very responsive. We had no problems but they checked in with us from time to time, making sure we have everything we needed.
