Leigh and Mike are absolutely phantastic hosts. They thoroughly enjoy life and this property is the epitomy of that! VERY spacious, amazing truly organic garden wher I was allowed to just help myself to the freshest and most delicious fruit and veg, then the huge green, quiet grounds, very kind staff and this amazingly timeless feel of wooden or natural terracotta floors. Wifi working fine, very Close to windelands, Hout Bay, City Cnetre, Airport and False Bay (including Organic Zone). THE place to recharge your batteries! Thanks again so much, Leigh! Kind wishes, Lothar

The house and setting are beautiful. Its a 100+ year old farm house in a quiet upscale residential area. The gravel driveway leads through a beautiful green tree-lined path to the secluded property. It feels very private and secure. The host, Leigh, has been here for 26+ years, so she’s familiar with the area to offer suggestions for local attractions such as events, or restaurants. At first we were worried about staying in such an old house, but there’s something really unique and charming about it. There’s all the modern amenities, with a very large/comfortable bed, two bathrooms available (including a separate tub), and large windows. The working vegetable garden and setting are peaceful. The large pool with deep end is refreshing for a dip on a hot summer afternoon. But be careful, as one of the dogs likes to jump in after you and play! We struggled to find a place that would accept our small puppy, and this place is perfect for animal lovers, as she already has two beautiful dogs, and 4 friendly cats. The internet is quite fast and reliable. Best of all, Leigh made fresh iced tea for us and put it in our mini fridge each day. She stocked the room with a few dried fruits and cookies. There’s also a hot water kettle, coffee, and Rooibos tea. Its a toss up between Camps Bay views and Constantia quietness, but next year when we come back to Cape Town, we would 100% stay with Leigh again!
