Islandview has old world charm with all the modern amenities, including three bedrooms, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 fireplaces, soaker tub & wet bar in the 3rd floor living area. A large private garden with BBQ, lit for quiet evening chats. Ideal for groups or families wishing to share self-catering space.

The space
House is 3 minute walk from the 1000 Island tourist boat and Joel Stone Park/Beach. There is a shared, semi-fenced garden with BBQ to enjoy in the day and 3 season sun porch for evening relaxing. The space comes with free parking for 4 vehicles, or a van and boat trailer. Secure storage for touring bicycles and regional cycling maps. All rooms are fitted with smoke/C02 detectors.
Please note: Due to fire regulations and bedding arrangements, no more than 7 people may stay, including ALL children over the age of 2. If more guests arrive than 7, there will be an additional surcharge of $200, collected by AirBandB. Please be sure to accurately note the number of guests. Thank you.

Guest access
This suite on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the turn-of-the-century Victorian home, with a short flight of stairs to climb. You have access to a shared backyard and secured bike/kayak storage upon request. You are within walking distance of the 1000 Islands Gananoque Boat Line, Heritage Museum, Boat Museum, beach, children's splash pad, marina, and band shell. Free live concerts at Band shell July/August Fri/Sat nights. Live theatre, dining, micro brewery, and shopping are nearby.
There is no central "living room", but there is the sun porch on the second floor, and the sitting area on the third, as well as the kitchen area. Well behaved children are welcome, but there is not a lot of indoor "play space". Please review pictures of the spaces available to see if it is suitable for your group/family.

After travelling the world, and still working in the travel industry, I have come to Gananoque to enjoy the life in this small, historic town, along the St. Lawrence River. I love meeting people and chatting with them about their lives, especially those from overseas. As an active Rotarian I enjoy meeting Rotary and other Service Club members and hearing about their good-works. I love curling, both playing and watching, and mysteries (movies, books, plays) of all kinds. Everyone is welcome at my home, and I hope you will truly enjoy your stay!
