We're a family that moved from London to embrace life in the countryside and the endless pleasures of living a self-employed life close to the sea. Karen is a graphic designer specialising in book design, Ollie is a student, and I run two quite unique holiday experiences: a luxury cottage called Blackthorn and a glamping cabin called Cedarwood. Plus, I have a quirky greetings card publishing company called Stationery Traffic that mainly features my own designs. Both Ollie and I are into our music, listening to a wide range of stuff as well as creating our own. We share our home with various free-range hens. (Guests will receive 4 x little gifts from the girls on arrival). The longer we live in this special place, the more we love it, and we hope that our enthusiasm will encourage you to discover some of the gems hidden in this part of the world, and it'll become special for you too!

During your stay

Usually the guests are greeted by us and shown around the cabin on arrival. We are always on the end of a mobile if required, but respect their privacy so like to leave our guests to enjoy the peace and quiet of their new surroundings.
