Tofino Tree House is located on an acre of coastal rainforest, tucked in the woods between Cox Bay and Rosie Bay.This west coast timber frame home offers 2 bedrooms plus a sleeping loft and can accommodate a maximum of six adults.

The space

Tofino Tree House was built in 2006 with the lumber harvested from the property and milled onsite. This unique house was hand crafted by local artisans. Located on an acre of coastal rainforest, this west coast timber frame home offers 2 bedrooms (one on the main floor, one loft style) plus a third (semi-open) sleeping loft, and can accommodate six adults.
The kitchen's focal point is the organic concrete table with seating for six. It comes fully equipped with all culinary needs, dishwasher, refrigerator, and gas oven.
Take your cooking outside on the 1000 square foot wrap around deck with a barbecue, or have an evening out around the fire pit.

Enjoy the heated wet-room, relaxing in the big soaker tub, (constructed from a surgical pasteurizer), with a view of the forest through the double glass doors, or swing the doors open to enjoy the fresh forest air!

Guest access

Tofino Tree house is situated on the north edge of Pacific Rim National Park, seven kilometres from downtown Tofino. We are just a short walk to 3 of Tofinos south-west facing beaches offering surf, endless beach walking, ideal storm watching and magnificent sunsets. We provide maps and a park pass for our guests.

Interaction with guests

Your hosts Kaeli, Jason and baby Leni live on the property, (on the other side of the trees), and will be happy to answer any of your questions, give recommendations, or point you in the right direction!

Just loved this magical house, the soaker tub on its own was an exciting treat. The loft bedrooms were also cozy and fun, and we just loved the smell of cedar everywhere. The house is well equipped and Kaeli made everything very easy, and texted us to make sure we were ok when we arrived. Overall loved our experience here and definitely hope to come back.

Beautiful place! Very secluded, quiet and full of character. Definitely the most unique place we have ever stayed in Tofino. The deck, firepit and massive soaker tub were the highlights

The location was perfect. Safe, secure, quiet and private, yet within close proximity to town. Kaeli was a great hostess and the house was very comfortable. The comfy furniture, bedding, heated floors, dishwasher, gas stove, outdoor fire pit and huge deck were great. We particularly enjoyed the luxury of the soaker tub and shower room. We'll definitely recommend to friends.

The Tofino tree house is truly a dream location. I have never been more impressed with a place I have stayed at. It is set so perfectly in the forest, but close enough to the beach. It was so cozy, and everything about it was above and beyond what I could have imagined!! We felt so relaxed during our stay, especially with the massive hottub :) I definitely recommend staying here, you'll feel so refreshed after your stay!

This place was absolutely stunning. It was a little farther from the town than we expected but it was only a 5 minute drive in. The house was beautiful, especially the shower/bathtub room, and the outside deck area was great as well. It was walking distance to two different beaches. The host also recommended a few great things to do while we were there.

My husband Jason and I moved to Tofino in 2009, as we wanted to live somewhere with a strong sense of community, where we could raise a family and surf year round. We opened up a food truck and have been living the dream ever since! We have 2 kids now and travel to Vancouver often for work, so we love Air Bnb!
