Tofino Tree House is located on an acre of coastal rainforest, tucked in the woods between Cox Bay and Rosie Bay.This west coast timber frame home offers 2 bedrooms plus a sleeping loft and can accommodate a maximum of six adults.
Tofino Tree House was built in 2006 with the lumber harvested from the property and milled onsite. This unique house was hand crafted by local artisans. Located on an acre of coastal rainforest, this west coast timber frame home offers 2 bedrooms (one on the main floor, one loft style) plus a third (semi-open) sleeping loft, and can accommodate six adults.
The kitchen's focal point is the organic concrete table with seating for six. It comes fully equipped with all culinary needs, dishwasher, refrigerator, and gas oven.
Take your cooking outside on the 1000 square foot wrap around deck with a barbecue, or have an evening out around the fire pit.
Enjoy the heated wet-room, relaxing in the big soaker tub, (constructed from a surgical pasteurizer), with a view of the forest through the double glass doors, or swing the doors open to enjoy the fresh forest air!
Tofino Tree house is situated on the north edge of Pacific Rim National Park, seven kilometres from downtown Tofino. We are just a short walk to 3 of Tofinos south-west facing beaches offering surf, endless beach walking, ideal storm watching and magnificent sunsets. We provide maps and a park pass for our guests.
Interaction with guests
Your hosts Kaeli, Jason and baby Leni live on the property, (on the other side of the trees), and will be happy to answer any of your questions, give recommendations, or point you in the right direction!
Other things to note
There are 2 double fold out sofas and additional bedding can be provided with notice. Note that we do charge $25 per person per night for guests exceeding 6.
Dogs are welcomed for an additional cleaning fee of $10 per dog per day.
Although you can't see our neighbours, they are just beyond the trees, we ask that you be respectful with your noise levels, and quiet between 10pm and 8am.
My husband Jason and I moved to Tofino in 2009, as we wanted to live somewhere with a strong sense of community, where we could raise a family and surf year round. We opened up a food truck and have been living the dream ever since! We have 2 kids now and travel to Vancouver often for work, so we love Air Bnb!
