Noni’s place was very nice and clean. We booked this last minute because upon arrival, we had a horrible experience with another airbnb so we switched over to Noni’s place. She gave very clear instructions of checking in. The neighbourhood is quiet but getting anywhere was very e…

Noni was a great host! She was very responsive to any questions that I had and she provided us with lots of recommendations for food and sightseeing while we were there.

Great location! Clean place and is on the first floor which made it easy to get into and out of with (Website hidden by Airbnb) opposed to others I stayed in where you have to carry bags up a few flights of stairs and a lot of these old buildings don’t have elevators. Noni was v…

Amazing location! Otherwise a basic, no-frills apartment. Solid wi-fi and internet. Good water pressure, though water temp varied. Noise level is fine with earplugs. Great kitchen though we did not use it much.

Greatly located in one of the best areas in NYC and would be good for an individual person, but surely not for a family of three of four. It is very tiny, dim and the furniture is old and not comfortable. The Aircondition is noisy and not efficient. we did not sleep well for most…

Hady I'm shocked to read this review. My place has been rented more than 10 times by groups of 3 people just in the last few months and you are the first and the only guest who has ever complained about the size of apartment or noise. But I can understand why because I've been to your part of the world, and youre coming from Dubai where everything is spacious you are finding nyc apartment small. Unfortunately all new york apartments are tiny and esp for my neighborhood which is the most expensive one in the city, getting a 400 sq ft apt with two separate rooms that I offer is very rare for this price. Usually you can't even get one hotel room of 200 sq ft anywhere in my neighborhood for the same price. I also don't understand your comment about furniture because my furniture is not that old. Also an experience of a charming walk up style building is what people are looking for in the west village and if there are wooden floors, it comes with a little squeaky noise when you walk on it, but I have lived here for 8 years and never even noticed it again all this has only come from you coz you can read all the previous reviews and most of them are from groups of 3 people. About check in, before you booked you saw that my checkin time is 3pm and you agreed to it. And a couple of days before coming you had specifically requested that you want to check in at 5pm instead. Then last minute the same day of arrival you changed the time and said you are coming at 12 which is outside of check-in time. Since I was not sure if i would be there at your requested 5pm time, I had to hire a maid to come later for cleaning so she can stay back and check you in at your requested 5pm time. In the US you cant change timings on cleaning workers last minute coz they live far away and everyone plan their schedules a few days in advance. But I scrambled and got the apartment ready at 430pm whereas we had agreed on 5pm with your booking. Anyway, I feel bad that you faced issues coz usually my guests are very pleased with the stay. I kept checking in with you and i don't understand why you didn't tell me any of this while you were here and instead just responded that everything was good. I couldn't have made the size of the apartment bigger of course, but i would have tried to do whatever I could to make your stay more pleasant. I was totally surprised to read this review. Needless to add, I do hope now that you are back safely in Dubai all comfortable and that your daughter was able to complete her work in school properly.
