This Apartment is located 2 mins walk from the waterfront, 5mins walk from either the Tram or buses. Designed and built 20 years ago it has just been fully renovated with new deluxe fittings. It has its own street entrance and a lush garden outlook.

The space

This is an apartment that is like a small modern house. It is entered from the street with its own separate front door and mailing address.

The facilities include an excellent compact kitchen with new Miele appliances, a Laundry/Bathroom with a shower, basin and Washer/dryer.

Glebe (email hidden)ly Inner Sydney harbourside neighbourhood bounded by waterfront parklands to the North and Sydney University to the South. It is conveniently located between the Sydney CBD, the University and other Inner City centres such as Newtown and redfern to the South and Annandale and Leichhardt to the west . It is particularly well endowed with cafes and restaurants.
The SMH Good Food Guide has awarded a hat to The Boathouse Restaurant located on Blackwattle Bay at the end of Ferry Road and it is a three minute level walk from the Apartment. On Glebe Point Road nearby, Glebe Point Diner is also highly recommended and 379 Cafe is very popular for breakfast. For fast food, Perry's Pizza is good value. Sydney Fish Market is a ten minute level walk around the Bay and has a variety of restaurants and shops. Within a fifteen minute walk in several directions, there are numerous restaurants and cafes.

There are several reliable bus services on Glebe Point Road - to the City by means of the 431 and 433; to Newtown, Randwick and Coogee by the 370 and in the other direction to Annandale and Leichhardt by the 370. The Light Rail goes every 10-15 minutes to central via Pyrmont, Star Casino, Chinatown and Haymarket. It is also a 25 minute walk to the city centre via the Fish Markets and Pyrmont.

The Inner West Harbourside Walk is a Long-term project of the City of Sydney to connect a string of parklands from Darling Harbour to Balmain around Pyrmont, Blackwattle and Rozelle Bays The section of this walk will soon be completed from Wentworth Park to Rozelle and is easily accessed from the Apartment.

We stayed 5 weeks and everything was great. David was very accommodating as we arrived early. The unit had everything that we needed. The availability of Opal cards for public transportatio very convenient (they need to be charged up). For us the location was walking distance to most of Sydney's attractions. It is close to a bus route and the Light Rail. We couldn't have asked for anything better.

The location of this apartment is excellent. It is very close to lovely waterfront walks, many, many cafes & restaurants and efficient transit into the CBD. A fun area to experience. A quiet & comfortable ground floor apartment suitable for 2 people.

Lovely location, apartment was bright and spacious. Would highly recommend for a couple who enjoy living in a real neighbourhood with lots of possibilities for walking good food and interesting folk.

David was an exceptional host. He provided fruit, helped us carry our luggage down (we had a lot!), and even let us check in early. He answered text messages right away, and was friendly and accommodating. 33A is a nice, bright and airy apartment. It is exactly as described and the pictures paint an accurate description. The only thing that I could say would improve the ad is to have some pictures of the bathroom. The place is right next to Glebe Point Road which has a huge number of restaurants and amenities. Broadway Mall is within walking distance as well. We only had one complaint, and I think we just got unlucky. This is absolutely no fault of David's but it did lessen the experience for us a bit. There is a house across the street that is undergoing major renovations and the noise in the morning was at times very loud and distracting. The bedroom is in the front as well, so that didn't help things. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay at David's Garden apartment and would highly recommend it.

The listing was lovely and exactly as expected from the description. Glebe is a delightful neighbourhood, only a quick walk to the fish market and Darling Harbour, downtown with all the amenities you may want up on Glebe Point Road. We stayed here for 10 days and loved it. David was a wonderful host, very helpful, with lots of great recommendations for touristing and dining around the area. We had a few issues with run-of-the-mill items, which he seamlessly addressed. We would absolutely stay here again.

The accommodation was very well set up for us on arrival. All kitchen, dining and bathroom supplies were supplied, which is great compared to most self catering private rentals we have encountered. The "library" of reading materials and guides was a great help even down to being provided with a "starter" Opal Transit pass we then simply topped-up on-line as needed. We loved the location; being able to stroll down to the Black Wattle Bay waterfront in the mornings with our coffee's and watch the Sydney rowers there in the evenings. Also a great launching spot to the Glebe community, Light Rail and Bus system.
