COVID restrictions: Two guests per room. For use of both rooms, please select four guests.

Our bright and comfortable annex has two spacious double bedrooms, each sleeping two people, with two superking size beds that can also be split into four single beds. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, one with a bath and shower, the other with a shower.

The space
We live in a beautiful converted 18th century threshing barn on the Wiltshire/Dorset border, at the end of a peaceful country lane off the A30 between the historic cathedral city of Salisbury and the market town of Shaftesbury.

The annex is one storey attached to the main house and has its own private access. Guests can come and go easily and there is plenty of parking. Each double room has its own key access. There is also a small private garden with a table and chairs in front of the annex where guests can sit and enjoy the sunshine.

Tea and coffee are provided with a kettle, a microwave and a fridge. Each room has a television, free Wifi, fresh bedding and towels, wardrobe hanging space, a chest of drawers and a hair dryer.

Guest access
Continental breakfast is included and will be left in the dining area in accordance with current government guidelines on social distancing.

Other things to note
The annex will be cleaned to a high standard following Airbnb's 'Enhanced Cleaning Routine'. I will also provide hand sanitisers in each room.

Location

Ansty, England, United Kingdom

We live in an area of outstanding natural beauty in an unspoilt spot looking out over the Cranborne Chase towards the Fovant Badges. We are on the outskirts of the pretty Nadder Valley village of Ansty. The Nadder Valley was named as one of the 'Best Places to Live in the Southwest 2020' by the Sunday Times.

We are surrounded by open countryside, perfect for long walks. There is an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants to stop off at for lunch or to drop in for drinks and dinner which serve fantastic food using local produce. Below are some of our favourites:

The Compasses Inn, Chicksgrove, SP3 6NB
The Forester, Donhead St Andrew, SP7 9EE
Messums Wiltshire, Tisbury, SP3 6LW
The Horseshoe Inn, Ebbesbourne Wake, SP5 5JF
The Beckford Arms, Tisbury, SP3 6PX
Pythouse Kitchen Garden, Tisbury, SP3 6PA

There are also great places within driving distance to go for days out, such as Longleat (30 mins), the beautiful cathedral city of Salisbury (20 mins), the market town of Shaftesbury (20 mins), Messums Art Gallery in Tisbury (10 mins), and the world’s most famous prehistoric monument, Stonehenge (30 mins).

For those wanting a beach walk, you can drive to Studland Bay (50 mins) and have lunch at The Pig. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are also within easy reach.
