Here is the cozy living room with a wood burning stove to sit around on cold winter evenings and talk or watch a movie around. There are children's books and toys also neatly stowed here to make all guests comfortable. Another picture of the living room showing the front door and more seating.

It is under renovation, so a bit dusty.

Heather's place was very cute and had a lot of amenities. I appreciated the thoughtfulness of soaps and shampoo as most places dont offer that. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths. It was in a quite location that wasn't far from the town of Aztec. We would drive to Durang…

Was the dead mouse inside the trash can in the house or in the big trash can outside?

We had a great time staying at Juniper house! The place is cozy, quaint, and very close to downtown Aztec and the Aztec ruins. The wifi is good, the house was clean, and the hosts were easy to contact and had great food recommendations. 5 stars.

Heather's home is a good place to stay if you want to get out of the hotel environment. The kitchen has what you need to prepare simple meals. The price was fair for the accommodation level.

We enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet. Plenty of space for family dinners and a beautiful deck to enjoy the cool mornings and evenings. It was close to The Aztec Ruins and Aztec’s Historic Downtown. It’s just a quick trip to Durango too.

It's a cozy clean and quiet place to stay. I would stay here again, however be forewarned it's 3-5 miles to any restaurant or store. The cooling system is a swamp cooler, blowing air of one main vent from the top of the house. Beds are comfortable but other furniture was outdated…

Response from Heather:
As stated in our description this is a country residence so be aware when booking. It's still only a 10 minute drive to the town of Aztec where there are numerous restaurants and a nice grocery store.
