Airbnb penalizes me if reviews are poor (less than 5 stars), so I strive to be as accurate as possible and make each stay enjoyable (not perfect). So, this guest says everything was perfect except there was only 1 pack and play instead of 2. Lauren choose not to shoot me a text, email or call me to let me know that she wanted another pack and play, which means I deserve a mediocre star rating (this really hurts my performance and I've already gotten a warning letter from Airbnb). If Lauren had just read the listing, it states that guests simply need to request the number of pack and plays they want for their stay and we'll make sure they have them. I have a stockpile of them in our office, just down the street. I could have brought her whatever she needed or made sure it was there before she arrived. I'm very disappointed when guests don't read the listing and then feel they must publicly criticize me or the home. Dear Future Guests reading this: if you need something, PLEASE just reach out to me instead of feeling the need to critique me after you depart. If you feel that you're receiving a less than 5-star experience, just call or text me. I’m generally very accommodating and want to make sure you’re getting a great value.
So, please feel free to let future guests know what you loved about your stay.
